Not so good

Taizuchi grabbed Kairo's hand and tried to pull him off. Kairo punched Taizuchi in the face and sent him flying back. Two teachers stepped in and viewed what was going on.

[Kairo] *pissed* He could've died! You almost killed him! You should just leave the academy. A fight between rivals, that's what I heard, not a fight between enemies.

Two dark horns on either side of Taizuchi's head grew. The atmosphere around everyone became heavy.

[Taizuchi] If it's a fight you want, I can give it to you.

[Kairo] *pissed* Bring it.

[Muigetsu] *pissed* Go ahead, bitch boy.

Taizuchi dashed forward, a Teacher stepped in and deflected Taizuchi. They restrained him, two more restrained, Kairo and Muigetsu.

[Kairo] C'mon you bastard! Show me what you got! Let go of me!

[Muigetsu] Let me at him!

A little while after

Mr. Yamachi wasn't there for MKSA so the class was split. Kairo and Muigetsu met up with Sasaki in his period. It was ELA and they sat next to him.

[Sasaki] So, that's what you were talking about this morning.

[Muigetsu] He's lucky they held us back.

[Kairo] He deserves it, you didn't see what he did?

[Sasaki] Yeah, it was pretty bad.

[Muigetsu] The guy is in the hospital at this very moment, not even able to walk, let alone eat by himself. His injuries were fatal, he's lucky to survive.

[Sasaki] I never knew Taizuchi would do something like that.

[Kairo] Zeno's skill is great, he mixed his moves perfectly and he was able to overpower Taizuchi. Taizuchi's raw swordsman skill is greater, but Zeno was able to hold his own and he would've won.

[Muigetsu] He'll see, when we face him again, it's over.

[Sasaki] He did win the fight at all cost though, that's for sure. Zeno's strong, but Taizuchi has a record at this school.

[Kairo] He did all of that to save his record. He was being beaten fair and square in a battle against "rivals" as it was called. That's not what it was at all. Taizuchi fought Zeno like he wanted to kill him. Did you not see in the halway today when we confronted him? He used that thing again on us.

[Sasaki] Yeah, I saw. Nothing like this has ever happened at Monkai. Well, there has been one fight that happened here that ended badly, but it was all an accident.

[Muigetsu] An accident?

[Sasaki] The fight was over, but the wounded student continued to fight even after. The other student didn't fight back, he only defended in fear of injuring the student more.

[Kairo] So what happened?

Sasaki took a quick pause and a deep breath.

[Sasaki] He died. Taizuchi's case, well, he tried to kill Zeno. In this student's case, they didn't kill the student, he killed himself. Even so, it felt as if he had killed the student.

[Muigetsu] That's horrible.

[Kairo] That wouldn't make him wrong though, you see, he didn't want to kill that student. He only tried to defend himself without hurting the other until he was done. Taizuchi wanted to kill Zeno.

[Sasaki] Yeah, I guess you're right.

End of the day

Kairo and Muigetsu headed home. They went outside and started training.
