The bell rang to end the first period. Kairo and Muigetsu walked to their next class. They took this next period together, also it was called "MKSA". They wondered what it was. On the way to their class, a student stopped them in their path.

[Kairo] Can you move out of the way so I can get next period?

[Renaldo] I don't think so. You may not know but I am the strongest here.

[Kairo] *yawning* Is that so? Oh well, my bad, now it's time for me to go.

[Renaldo] *laughing* You best not take me lightly, you're in some real trouble now. I, King Michael Vincent Renaldo II will end your journey right here!

Renaldo rushed Kairo and Muigetsu. They both sprung forward and kicked Renaldo, knocking him out instantly in one blow.

[Kairo] *sigh* What's a guy like this doing here?

[Muigetsu] I don't even know.

[Kairo] He wasn't even a challenge, all that for nothing.

[Muigetsu] He just wasted our time honestly.

MKSA-second period

This was a big room on the top floor of the academy. About twenty students were there.

[Mr. Yamachi] You two are the new student's I suppose. Welcome to Monkai Sword Arts. This is a special class specifically for sword users here. All of you, let's get started. Get to your positions and get in your stance.

Everyone did as told.

[Mr. Yamachi] Lift your swords up!

Everyone raised their swords.

[Mr. Yamachi] Strike!

Everyone sliced down.

[Mr. Yamachi] Up! Strike! Up! Strike!

A little while later.

Muigetsu and Kairo were tired. They could feel their body hurting due to their injuries.

[Mr. Yamachi] Now that we are warmed up, time for sparing. Everyone get a sparring partner and get into your positions.

Kairo and Muigetsu partnered up.

[Mr. Yamachi] Now, begin!

They started attacking each other. They were using wooden swords instead of their real ones to spar. Kairo did a low slice but Muigetsu jumped over it and did a downward slice. Kairo deflected it and almost brought Muigetsu's guard up but Muigetsu slid his sword off. They clashed a couple of times and Muigetsu landed a blow on Kairo's body.

[Muigetsu] Oh damn!

[Kairo] I don't know why you're excited already.

Kairo ran towards and landed a strike on Muigetsu, his right arm. Mr. Yamachi walked up to the two.

[Mr. Yamachi] You're not all that bad, your technique needs work. Look here when I strike.

Mr. Yamachi demonstrated for Kairo and Muigetsu. They stood still and observed Mr. Yamachi. Mr. Yamachi's strike was very powerful, the amount of control he had with his sword was impressive.

[Mr. Yamachi] When you strike, your hands should remain loosely on the handle and when you strike, keep your arms close to you. Keeping your arms open like this restrains yourself from getting that ideal perfect slice. Everyone! Attention! Taizuchi, come forth.

Taizuchi, the top student of the class, stepped forward.

[Taizuchi] Yes sensei.

[Mr. Yamachi] Everyone, clear the area. Take your positions on the wall.
