Unexpected Confusion; Lost of power

Kairo and Muigetsu could barely feel anything in their arms or legs, their wounds were not healed and they could only sit in bed but they noticed something else, they felt powerless.

[Muigetsu] *nervous* Katoichi hand me my sword.

[Katoichi] You shouldn't be moving right now because of your wounds. Why do you need it?

[Muigetsu] Just give it to me!

Katoichi handed Muigetsu his sword. He tried to use Koseishi and couldn't feel anything. He attempted to use Koseishi on his eyes and activate Shūchū but nothing happened.

[Muigetsu] *frozen in shock* No way...

[Kairo] What's the matter Muigetsu?!

Kairo fell out of bed and grabbed his sword. He tried to use koseishi but nothing happened, he couldn't generate even a small amount.

[Katoichi] Kairo! Muigetsu! What are you two doing?! What's your problem?!

[Kairo] I can't feel it!

[Katoichi] Feel what?!

[Muigetsu] Maybe it's just because we used too much in the battle or we're just too injured.

[Kairo] Yeah! Yeah! That could be it!

[Katoichi] I don't understand? What's going on?

[Muigetsu] No, we would still be able to use it, we were injured like this before, remember? This can't be right.

[Kairo] *stressed* This can't be happening right now.

[Katoichi] HELLO?! Why aren't you listening to me?!

[Muigetsu] I can't use koseishi! It's gone!

[Katoichi] You're kidding right?!

[Kairo] I can't use Shūchū or use it in my sword, I don't know what's going on. Katoichi, what's happening?!
[Katoichi] *shocked* I- I don't know. *in his head* I can use the energy fine, but what's going on? Not to mention they have no knowledge of what happened in the fight.

[Kairo] I don't understand what's going on but have we really lost the ability to use koseishi? Just tell me, I need to know.

[Katoichi] There's a possibility that it is temporary. You possibly used too much energy in the fight and you also overused it, so there's a possibility that you don't have any energy left and it's just taking its time to replenish. Just lay down and get some rest.

[Muigetsu] Damnit...

The next day

Katoichi woke up on the couch to find Muigetsu and Kairo missing out of their bedrooms and outside training.

[Katoichi] Hey! What are you two doing out here?! You shouldn't be moving.

[Muigetsu] *confused* Eh?! What are you doing here?!

[Katoichi] What are you talking about?! Get back to bed.

[Kairo] You told us to train, remember? You said you'd give us a week.

[Katoichi] No I didn't, what are you even talking abou- Wait, you two don't remember what happened last night?
[Kairo] You beat us, remember? We're supposed to be training so we can face you again, it's hard with these wounds.

[Muigetsu] Did you hit your head or something? You don't seem okay.

Katoichi was left in shock. He didn't know what to think and thought that Kairo and Muigetsu were just joking.

[Katoichi] This is just some kind of prank isn't it? C'mon you two, it's not the time for jokes. That happened over a month ago.

[Muigetsu] No seriously bro, are you okay? You're not thinking straight. Over a month ago? You just told us this yesterday.
