The Rematch IV: Intensity

The Park - Rintatsuchi v.s. Kairo

Rintatsuchi came bursting through, attacking with no hesitation. Kairo quickly held up his arms to block, but it wasn't enough. His arms went flying into the air and Rintatsuchi's fist connected with his face at a horrifying speed. He was launched back and rolled on the ground like a tire, scraping against the dirt as he moved. He quickly planted his hand on the ground and slid back, catching his balance and getting back to his feet. Kairo stood up from off of the ground and got into a stance. Rintatsuchi walked forward, through the trees and began to breathe heavily.

[Kairo] *in his mind* I see, he's using some sort of technique, it must be taking a toll on his body.

Rintatsuchi's eyes returned to normal and they were no longer black.

[Kairo] That technique or whatever you're using is hurting you? Isn't it?

[Rintatsuchi] laughing, this isn't anything to me.

[Kairo] *in his mind* He's definitely leveled up since then, but I have as well. I'm starting to understand more of that ability. He's able to use this force or whatever outside of his body and as well as the inside. So, with these new techniques, he must be manipulating the force inside his body as well. He's also exerting a lot of energy, I can tell. If I can get him to waste his energy, I can move in for the kill.

Kairo dashed forward, slicing, this time, without using koseishi. Rintatsuchi dashed to the side, evading the attack.

[Rintatsuchi] Hmm? You're not using energy this time?

[Kairo] No need to.

[Rintatsuchi] Eh? You think that you can beat me without using your power? Funny. You'd better, or it'll be your demise.

[Kairo] Yeah, yeah.

[Rintatsuchi] Oh? I'll show you, brat.

Rintatsuchi kicked off the ground, causing the ground to break under his feet. Kairo quickly activated his shuuchuu technique and dodged the strikes with ease. Without using energy, he sliced, opening a wound on his right peck. He clenched onto it and dashed back. He had already taken a large amount of damage due to the slices he had received from both Kairo and Muigetsu, he was reaching his limit.

[Kairo] *in his head* Good, just a little longer.

[Rintatsuchi] *enraged* You scum! How dare you disrespect me like this? I'll show you! You little shit!

Rintatsuchi crouched down to the ground and got in a low stance, like a tiger ready to pounce.

Meanwhile - Kotaro v.s Muigetsu

[Muigetsu] *in shock* *in his mind* Just the sheer force of his blows are enough to make my hands tremble. Do I actually stand a chance against this guy? Do I have the strength to beat him?

Muigetsu began to contemplate his choices at this moment. He could feel shocks travel through his body as he was hit.

[Muigetsu] *breathing heavily* So this is what Katoichi went through...

Muigetsu looked at his trembling hands as they shook. His palms began to grow cold and sweat started to form.

[Muigetsu] Twice...Twice he fought against this guy and lasted. Can I do the same?

Muigetsu glanced at Katoichi in his lifeless state.

[Muigetsu] *calming* What the hell am I doing? It doesn't matter, I have to face him.

Muigetsu took a deep breath then stood up off the ground.

[Kotaro] Ready I see? I'm growing bored with you people.
