All too Sudden

The next day after the incident

Muigetsu and Kairo eat breakfast and go outside. Tomorrow, they have school, so they couldn't stay out too late today. They go to the usual spot and find a letter right next to the punching bag and weights. They pick it up and it doesn't have a sender name. They hesitate to open it but they end up doing it. On the note is an address, it's right next to their home village. They suspect something is up and they don't want to encounter anymore conflict after what just happened to them, but if there's any clues of them finding Kinoshiba, they have to go. They keep the note in mind and go on with their day. They might go, they might not. They hang out at the usual spot and train until dark, then they go back home. The next day at school, Kairo finds a note in his desk. It read "Come to the address, I only want to talk." He's shocked at the sight, "Who is giving us these letters? Is it someone from the school?" he thought. For lunchtime, Kairo discusses what he saw on the note with Muigetsu.

Lunchtime

[Kairo] I found this note inside my desk today. Look at what it says.

Muigetsu reads the letter.

[Muigetsu] *shocked* WHAAAT?! Is it someone trolling us? What's going on? If they left the note in your desk, they must go to this school and they have to know us.

A student walks up to the table and butts into Muigetsu and Kairo's conversation.

[Student] Whatcha two talking about?!

Kairo and Muigetsu gave the student a serious look.

[Kairo] *serious* Fuck off.

[Muigetsu] *serious* It's not your problem so back the hell off.

[Student] *scared* Okay!

The student ran off.

[Kairo] *sigh* I hate when people do that.

[Muigetsu] For real, it gets so annoying. Like, if I'm talking to someone and you're not present in the conversation, that means you're not meant to be in it.

[Kairo] Exactly! Now back to what we're talking about. What should we do? Should we meet up with this person?

[Muigetsu] I say let's do it. If we want to learn more about this guy and find him, we have to. We also need to get stronger, if he's strong enough to defeat an entire civilization by himself and we can only pray for our lives, then we can't expect to defeat him.

[Kairo] We'll go after school.

Later that afternoon

Muigetsu texted Yotuba and told them they would be coming home a bit later since they were staying out for a bit. Their home village was a couple miles away from where they were. They took a bus and rode there. They walked the rest of the way and made it to the address. It was a large mansion, it looked nice. They knocked on the door and nobody answered. They saw the camera and looked into it. The door opened with nobody touching and they walked into the mansion, still having suspicions of what was going on. A sword flew towards them, it was just like that time when bullets were shot at them, they could see the sword coming at them even though it came at them at fast speeds. They dodged it, the sword completely destroyed the door and a giant explosion occurred outside of the mansion. The lights flickered and a high schooler that went to their school appeared before them with two katanas. Muigetsu and Kairo quickly realized who this was, it was the new transfer student.

[Kairo] Who are you and how did you just do that?!

[Muigetsu] Wait! You're-

[Katoichi Minyoubu] That's right, I'm the new transfer student, Katoichi Minyoubu. It seems you don't know about what's happening to you.
