In the darkness

Kairo and Muigetsu opened their eyes and everything was completely dark. They had no Idea on where they were located or what was going on. All they remember was being touched and everything went black.

[Kairo] *breathing heavily* Confused* Where...am I?

All of a sudden, in a red flash of aura, something came flying at him and clocked him in the face, launching him away. When Kairo caught his balance, he planted his feet and turned around to notice what had hit him and where he was.

[Kairo] *shocked* This is...his reality.

Kotaro was different, much different than what they had seen. He looked insane, devilish. He had a horn coming out of the side of his head, protruding from his skull, and red eyes that struck fear into you. His aura was no longer blue, it was red, and lots of steam was being produced from his body. Muigetsu was still down onto his fours, trying to catch his breath, but he couldn't. Kotaro flashed in front of Muigetsu and kicked him away while he was on the ground.

[Kairo] Muigetsu!

Kairo lunged forward and sliced, but Kotaro faded away into fog. When Kairo turned around, Kotaro began to flash around him at insane speeds, leaving behind afterimages as he moved. Kairo couldn't keep track of him at all, it was impossible. He was blasted away yet again, this time with a barrage of punches. As he soared through the air, he looked up at the darkened sky that was pitch black. A large hand came down, crushing him as he held up his arms to block. He didn't leave unscathed, his bones nearly shattered as he blocked the attack, it was nothing like he had seen before. He activated total focus and got back to his feet, but he was stumbling. Kotaro came flashing in once again, but Kairo evaded the attack, or at least he thought. When he sliced Kotaro, he disappeared into fog and appeared meters away. Kairo went to walk forward, but immediately dropped to his knee as his side was gushing out with blood. Looking at Kotaro's hands, he realized they were bloody and he had somehow struck him before he could realize. He held his wound at his side as the blood poured onto his fingers.

[Kairo] *in pain* How...?

Kotaro stood there, smiling menacingly, striking fear into Kairo, but he didn't let it get to him. He crouched down and held onto his katana and prepared to attack him once again.

[Kairo] Yami no tsuki!

Kairo dashed forward, slicing as he moved, but Kotaro froze him in place completely and he was paralyzed.

[Kairo] I can't...move!

Kotaro dashed forward and while infusing energy into his fist, he drove it into Kairo's face, making his body ragdoll and soar through the air. His grip began to loosen on his katana and he struggled to even stay awake. Kotaro held his hands together and his silhouette shot out of his body and moved forward in a blur towards Kairo, fists embedded with red flames and hitting him again while he was still gliding in the air.

[Kotaro] *laughing hysterically* This is my reality! There's nothing you can do!

Kairo's body grew too weak to even keep his arms up. They fell at his sides and his body went limp as he soared through the air.

[Kairo] *faintly* This is...it. I can no longer fight...it's over.

Kotaro flashed forward and grabbed Kairo by the head while he was in the air. He then proceeded to slam his head into the ground before picking him up again by his hair and punching him in the face, kicking him in the gut, and throwing him up in the air and roundhousing him away with a kick to his face. His mouth splurged with blood and he started to fall unconscious.
