Kairo and Muigetsu turned around slowly and looked around them. They were sick to their stomachs and felt an uncontrollable rage build up inside their bodies. Rintatsuchi walked up to them, cracking his neck and his knuckles.

[Rintatsuchi] Looks like I'll have to finish you off. Let's do this, shall we?

[Muigetsu] You scummy bastard.

Kairo and Muigetsu drew their swords, it flooded with energy and immense power. The koseishi inside them had changed in some type of way, but they didn't understand or notice at the moment.

[Rintatsuchi] I'll make this quick, so you won't have to suffer.

[Kairo] It won't take longer than two minutes, you'll be dead by the end of this.

[Rintatsuchi] Don't take me so lighty. I'll be surprised if you even manage to give me a mark.

[Muigetsu] I'll make you eat those words, fucking dumbass.

Muigetsu dashed forth, Rintatsuchi couldn't track his movements. He got behind him and sliced. Rintatsuchi jumped up and planted his hand on Muigetsu's head midair. He blasted this energy out of his hand and Muigetsu was crushed into the ground. Despite the attack, he immediately got up and retreated back to position.

[Kairo] Kirāzu no jihi.

Kairo flashed behind Rintatsuchi, he flipped his sword around and sliced. Rintatsuchi flipped over the strike and dashed back. However, Muigetsu was already there closing in on him.

[Muigetsu] Chi no hebi.

A snake in the form of Koseishi lashed out with the strike of Muigetsu's sword. It attached its teeth onto Rintatsuchi and got through the flesh of his right shoulder. It turned red from the blood and dispersed back into the form of energy.

[Rintatsuchi] *in his head* What is this? I can't move my arm.

[Muigetsu] *in his head* I felt something different in my energy just now...That move just now was something I hadn't tried before, but it seems to have worked perfectly. 

[Kairo] What was that about us not being able to mark you?

Rintatsuchi ripped off his shirt and used it to wrap his shoulder.

Rintatsuchi held out his left arm and blasted a dark beam out of it. Kairo and Muigetsu dodged and dashed forward meeting their swords at one point on either side of Rintatsuchi's neck. They struck, but their swords only clashed after Rintatsuchi ducked under the attempt. He sweep kicked them both and punched the ground, making energy break and rise from under the ground. It blasted up, like pressurized wind. Kairo and Muigetsu quickly rolled to the side and jumped up.

[Kairo] *in his head* I'm starting to understand his power more. That energy he has is compressed and he blasts it out.

[Muigetsu] *in his head* It's almost like he's shooting a gun. Wherever he strikes, the energy releases from his fist, or even his palm. 

Kairo dashed and struck, wielding koseishi in his sword causing a large scale slice. Rintatsuchi dashed back and struck the ground once again, causing a stream of pressure to explode from under the ground in a straight line under Kairo's feet. He jumped into the air and struck.

[Kairo] Yami no tsuki.

Energy released from Kairo's sword, the sheer unsettling force of it, froze Rintatsuchi.

[Rintatsuchi] I-I can't move!

Kairo planted his feet on the wall and held his sword in his holster. Everything got dark and cold, the atmosphere around Rintatsuchi was heavy. Kairo exploded forward, releasing his sword, slicing Rintatsuchi with a devastating blow. A giant wound opened up on Rintatsuchi's torso and it gushed out with blood. He dropped to his knee and took deep breaths.
