The Rematch III: True Strength

Inside an alternate reality - Katoichi v.s. Kotaro

Kotaro flashed forward and threw a barrage of strikes, Katoichi then vanished into smoke before reappearing behind him. He drew his sword and duplicated himself before lunging forward at Kotaro.

[Kotaro] Those little tricks won't work on me.

He sliced but Kotaro grabbed the blade with his hand, a shocked expression bloomed on Katoichi's face before he faded away into gas.

[Kotaro] If you keep this up, you'll get nowhere. You haven't even made me exhaust a little bit of my strength.

[Katoichi] You bastard!

Katoichi flashed forward and began to strike Kotaro with endless strikes from every direction. Kotaro simply closed his eyes and dodged the attacks with ease. He grabbed Katoichi by the neck and slammed him into the ground before he faded away. Katoichi sprung back into action, flowing Koseishi through his blade and dashing forward. Kotaro dashed to the side before holding out his hand.

[Kotaro] Gyakuten.

For a moment, everything went back to normal. He flashed behind Katoichi and blasted him into the ground with a kick before they were transported back into his reality.

[Muigetsu] Shit! He's not doing good!

[Rintatsuchi] Focus on the fight.

[Muigetsu] Shut the hell up, will you?!

Katoichi clenched onto his sword and threw himself forward. He generated energy and charged it into his blade before slicing and a large slice of koseishi was shot at Kotaro at high speeds. Kotaro launched into the air and evaded the attack. Katoichi did more of these sliced in the air, but Kotaro flashed away from them, appearing behind Katoichi. He placed his hand on his back before aura emitted out of it.

[Kotaro] Kain.

He flashed away before Katoichi could react and prepared to attack.

[Katoichi] You bastard.

Katoichi duplicated himself and began to put pressure on Kotaro, hoping that he could prevent him from using a technique. Little did he know that Kotaro wasn't the same person as before, he was on a whole nother level. He was much faster than Katoichi, much stronger, he overpowered him in an instant and held his hands into the air.

[Katoichi] I won't let you do that again.

Katoichi got in a low stance and energy flowed throughout his body. Veins popped out of his forehead and blood gushed out of his mouth. He was going way past his normal limits, it was killing him as a result.

[Katoichi] *enraged* Daitai Danmaku.

A dark aura covered his body and he ruptured forward, tearing the ground below him as he moved. Everything began to flash red and white as it was being inverted. Katoichi barraged Kotaro from every direction with countless strikes. Kotaro held up his hands and started to block, but even this was too much for him to handle. His guard slowly started to let down as the strikes were tearing up his arms. Each strike was embedded with energy so much that it packed an even greater force. Katoichi cocked his entire arm back and threw a powerful strike that warped the area around them, completely tearing through his guard. As his hands came up, his balance faltered and he began to stumble. Katoichi clenched onto the sword at his side and crouched down. Before Kotaro could even react, another strike was coming his way.

[Katoichi] *furious* Die! You bastard!

Koseishi charged in his blade, it was an inhumane amount. The backlash he was feeling was so great that his insides were getting ready to cave in, yet he endured it. He launched himself forward and struck with all his might. At that moment, he saw victory, he saw the end, or at least he thought. That's when he realized the expression on his brother's face, it wasn't fear, it wasn't struggle, it wasn't shock. He was smiling, laughing at that. How was he smiling when he was the one in danger? Doesn't he know his situation? Katoichi's mind began to be clouded by these thoughts while Kotaro stood there not even breaking a sweat. He clawed his hand and while Katoichi was closing in on him, he struck.
