Sacred Killers - Akuma no yoru

The true meaning

[Taizuchi] You're weak! You're both very weak!

[Muigetsu] Oh yeah? I'll make you use that power and crush you once I see it. Then we'll see who's weak.

Taizuchi thrusted forward, bending the air around him as he moved with great speed and force. He cocked his fist back and struck. Muigetsu dashed back and held his blade forward.

[Muigetsu] Chi no hebi!

A koseishi snake launched out of his blade. Taizuchi tilted his body and dodged the snake with ease. He retracted his arm back and prepared to strike.

[Taizuchi] Kaze no hashira!

Taizuchi struck Muigetsu with a devastating blow to the gut. Then, a compressed pillar of air shot out from under the ground and sent Muigetsu flying into the air. Taizuchi sprung upwards and kicked Muigetsu. He quickly put up his hands to block but he was still sent flying into the ground.

[Muigetsu] *Irritated* Why you!

Muigetsu planted his feet firmly onto the ground and clenched onto his sword. A powerful aura enveloped him. Energy circulated in his blade, releasing pressure into the air causing his glasses to fly off of his face and his eyes to glow. Muigetsu started having flashbacks from his previous battles.

Flashback

Kairo ran at Taizuchi, he sliced but Taizuchi got right through his guard. Kairo's arms flew up and Taizuchi switched his stance and turned his sword. He drove his sword into Kairo's shoulder with one good thrust and kicked him, pulling the sword out at the same time. Kairo went flying all the way to the back wall.

[Muigetsu] *in his head* Now's my chance!

Muigetsu jumped up into the air behind Taizuchi. He struck his sword down as fast as he could, but Taizuchi raised his sword up and sliced down, spinning at the same time and wind sliced up Muigetsu.

[Muigetsu] *in his head* Impossible! He wasn't even looking at me!

Flashback 2

Rintatsuchi attacked Kairo and Muigetsu. They were able to see through his attacks and evaded them. Kairo and Muigetsu split past his attacks and got on either side of him. They kneeled down and drew their swords, dashing at the same time, meeting at one point to strike. Rintatsuchi clenched his fist and held his arms up in a cross. Something blasted out of his body as he ferociously lowered his arms. His shirt completely ripped off of his body and Muigetsu and Kairo were blasted back.

[Kairo] *in his head* I can't get around this ability!

[Muigetsu] *in his head* What is that?!

Present

[Muigetsu] *in his head* All these battles, all these losses, all this not being able to do anything. It's driving me crazy.

Power was surging through Muigetsu, so much that it caught Yamachi's eyes. Taizuchi got into a stance and was prepared to take the attack head on.

[Taizuchi] *excited* That's it! That's what I like to see!

Muigetsu threw himself forward and sliced. A giant flash of bright light enveloped the scene that blinded everyone in the area along with an explosion of Aura. After it cleared up, what was there was shocking. Yamachi stood in front of Muigetsu with his palm on the blade of his sword.

[Muigetsu] *shocked* *in his head* That's impossible! How?!

[Taizuchi] *confused* What's the problem?! Why did you step in?!

[Yamachi] You fool. If you took that attack head on, your head would be blown off of your torso.

Yamachi kicked Muigetsu away. He rolled on the ground and clenched onto his stomach before getting up off of the ground. All of a sudden, Kairo came flashing in and sliced. Yamachi deflected his attack with ease. Through it all, Yamachi hadn't got a single scratch on his body.
