In a pool of sweat, with one full inhale, the air is shot through Kairo's body as he regains consciousness in the place he once remained. They had almost escaped, he thought, he didn't even bother to struggle, he just stayed there staring motionlessly at the ground with his hands bound behind the chair he was strapped to, no clothing covering his scarred body having nothing but underwear on. As he trembled with frustration, sulking in the darkness, opened the door to reveal the boy that has been detaining him in this cursed, wretched, nasty shithole. As he turned on the light, Kairo didn't even bother to look at him. He simply continued to stare at the ground, hair over his face blocking his eyes, only his mouth and nose visible, and Kyutaro began to walk towards him, smiling as if nothing were wrong at all.

[Kyutaro] Good afternoon Kairo. You've been out for quite some time, you and your little buddy.

Kairo remained silenced.

[Kyutaro] Not the talkative type today, are ya? What happened? Did you finally realize that there's no getting out of here? No matter how hard you try?

[Kyutaro] You were quick to talk nonsense, even request for food and water, but now, I guess you're all out of energy to do so. Would you like anything to eat or drink?

Kairo didn't budge.

[Kyutaro] If you don't ask, then you can't get anything. I'll just leave you here to star-

[Kairo] Go ahead, I don't care anymore.

[Kyutaro] Is your spirit crushed that easily? I thought it would take more than that to kill your spark.

[Kairo] What do you expect me to do like this besides suffer? I have no reason to request anything from you anymore. I'd rather keep my mouth shut than argue with you or succumb to your bullshit. I won't ask you for anything so you can get moving.

Kyutaro cocked his palm back and back handed Kairo right in the mouth causing his head to jerk back slightly.

[Kyutaro] A pet, or toy, or slave isn't supposed to act in this way.

[Kairo] Hmmf...so that's what you take me for.

[Kyutaro] What more are you? The ants on this ground have more worth than you do at the moment.

[Kairo] Good, go bother them, not me.

[Kyutaro] Tell me Kairo, about where you're from.

[Kairo] And why the hell would I do that?

[Kyutaro] Because you're going to die anyway so what's the point? Might as well.

[Kairo] Good point, doesn't make me want to talk any more than I already don't.

[Kyutaro] I'm actually trying to converse with you for once, you should take the opportunity.

[Kairo] Yeah I should totally tell my life to a guy that for some reason wants to make sure I suffer as much as possible.

[Kyutaro] How about this, you answer my questions and I'll grant you and Muigetsu some time with each other. In a larger space than this one.

Kairo hesitated for a moment then finally looked Kyutaro right in the eyes.

[Kairo] *serious* For how long?

[Kyutaro] Let's say...one whole day.

[Kairo] How do I know you're not lying to me?

[Kyutaro] I haven't lied to you once yet. I've given you food and water when you've asked, when I said I was going to do something I've done it haven't I?
