Eriola's POV
I woke up to the warm embrace of my man's arms and his peaceful slumber. I glanced at the clock on the nightstand and saw that it was 7am.
"He came home to me."
My heart swelled with happiness, grateful to have him back with our family. We could finally return to Evergreen Valley together. Holden had always been true to his word and he proved it once again by protecting us and keeping his promises. I loved Jonathan, but deep down, I knew Holden was a much better man than him. He never strayed or betrayed my trust. I am blessed to have such a devoted husband and wouldn't want it any other way.
One thing I want to do is visit my parents and try to reconcile with my father. I strode purposefully towards the balcony door, determined to take in the breathtaking view. The sky was a perfect shade of blue, and the vast expanse of land that belonged to Claude and his wife was simply stunning.
I stood there, a sense of pure joy washed over me. No more tears, no more danger, just contentment with my life and the blessing growing inside of me. Placing my hand on my nine-week-old baby bump, I couldn't help but smile and embrace this new chapter without any fear or hesitation. The cool morning breeze brushed against my face, refreshing and invigorating.
Suddenly, strong arms wrapped around my waist and a familiar voice whispered in my ear. "You smell amazing this morning, baby," Holden murmured, pulling my hair to one side before kissing my neck tenderly.
I turned around in his arms and looked into his loving eyes. "Morning," I said with a shy smile, my cheeks flushing slightly. "Did you sleep well?"
"Like a baby," he chuckled, his hand caressing my belly gently. "How are you feeling?"
"Good," I replied, my heart swelling with love for him all over again. "I'm so glad you're home. I missed you so much last night."
"I missed you too," he said, cupping my face in his hands as he stared into my eyes intently.
"Eriola, I want to thank you for believing in me. I'm eternally grateful for having such an understanding and supportive wife like you."
I leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "I love you, Holden Sterling and I'll always believe in you," I whispered, my eyes filling with tears of happiness.
"I love you too, Eriola," he said, his voice gruff with emotion as he held me close. "And I promise to spend the rest of my life making things good for us and our children. I'll protect my family with my life."
"I know you will," I said, squeezing him tighter. "And I can't wait to start our new life together, away from all the drama and chaos."
As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, the sun began to rise over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the estate, symbolizing the dawn of a new era - one filled with love, joy, and endless possibilities.
Holden's POV
My wife is my entire world, and I would do absolutely anything for her and our children. Eriola may not be aware of it yet, but after we have this baby, I hope to get her pregnant once again. Of course, only if she wants to as well; but personally, I long for a home full of laughter and joy from our growing family.
Ever since that day she walked into my office, everything changed for me. She has the most incredible soul, and my main goal in life is to love and support her in every possible way. Through all the ups and downs and struggles, I will always stand by her and be there for her. She truly is the love of my life.
