Episode 91: Epilogue (Love Against All Odds Part 1)

Holden's POV

Evergreen Valley, North Dakota

It has been 14 weeks since we returned home from our trip to Paris, and things have not slowed down yet. We are currently working on renovating our hotel, and I couldn't be happier about it. Eriola is now 14 weeks pregnant (which she made sure to inform me is exactly 3 months), and she has returned to work with her colleague Margaret to ensure that everything stays on track for the construction work on our hotel, leading up to our grand opening.

My father is ecstatic about this project and has planned a dinner party. He expects all of us to be there, but I am not looking forward to the event. Although my father insisted on our attendance, I made sure to consult with Eriola and ensure she was comfortable with it before agreeing

She said yes, she doesn't want my father's racist behavior to stop her mother-in-law from seeing her grandchildren. And on top of all this, we are also busy planning our dream wedding. I suggested waiting until after the baby is born, but Eriola was determined to have our happy ending as soon as possible.

In two months, when she is five months into her pregnancy, we will have a wedding celebration. Even though we are technically already married, I want her to experience the traditional big wedding with our friends and family. Our first wedding was in Paris, but I want this one to be more special for her. Eriola is still grieving over the loss of Jonathan and some nights she wakes up in tears. I always give her the support and time she needs to cope with her emotions. But she assures me that she loves me deeply and I trust her completely

With everything going on in our lives, we're just taking things one day at a time and going with the flow. Eriola is seeing a therapist again to help process her grief and emotions during this pregnancy. And let me tell you - pregnancy hormones may be tough to handle sometimes, but the sex during pregnancy...is amazing. Just saying. As I watch my beautiful wife get dressed in front of me, I can't help but feel grateful and excited for the future ahead.

She wears a striking black dress, the Contrast Mesh Gigot Sleeve Velvet Dress, paired with CHANEL boots that show off cute baby bump. She looks absolutely delicious. Her hair is braided at the front, but her natural curls still cascade down her back. She is the epitome of beauty to me. I can hardly resist taking her right here and now. Her perfume lingers in the air, adding to her allure. We may end up being fashionably late for dinner, but it's worth it just to be near her.

There she stands, as radiant as ever. I love her beautiful chestnut skin, and the swell of her belly, a testament to our forbidden love, sends a shudder of possession through me. I walk towards her, my steps deliberate and predatory, the floorboards protesting under my heavy dress shoes. A low growl escapes my throat - she's fucking mine.

"Never have I seen anything more divine." I growl the words into her brown skin. Her body trembles beneath me, and I can't help but admire her curves.
