Joker: M-...... Makoto...... Yuki?

(Joker is frozen, seeing Makoto Yuki before him. He bears a tired, indifferent look to himself as he always was years ago.)

Makoto Yuki: Huh..... how come you know my name? Did we-..... meet?

Joker: No.....

(Joker looks around. He finds himself in an infinite expanse of outer space. Stars twinkle in the distance, and nebulas cast a soft glow, illuminating the endless void. Though the ground remains, yet invisible.)

Joker: Where..... are we..... ?

(Joker's voice reverbs through their surroundings. Providing an emphasis of the endless expanse of it. Yuki stands up, and looks around.)

Makoto Yuki: Eh..... I don't know myself.

(Yuki then looks back at Joker's battered body.)

Makoto Yuki: How did you end up here?

Joker: Same reason...... as you...... I don't know.....

(Yuki lets out a small smile.)

Makoto Yuki: Wow. I guess it won't feel that lonely around here. At least it's better than being in total darkness all the time. I've been stuck here, wandering this..... empty space. You're the first person I ever met in a long while. But it's funny though..... there's something about you.

Joker: What.... is it?

Makoto Yuki: Something just tells me that..... we're one and the same.

Joker: Heh.....

(Joker lets out a weak smile.)

Joker: That's because..... we both use Personas..... We're..... wildcards too.....

Makoto Yuki: Huh? Really?

Joker: Yeah..... I'm guessing now that's how we're able to see each other?

Makoto Yuki: I guess so.....

(Joker lets out a sigh from exhaustion as he sustains his wounds. Yuki takes notice of it again.)

Makoto Yuki: I mean..... you look pretty messed up..... It wouldn't hurt to catch up, right?

Joker: It's a long story.....

Makoto Yuki: I got time.

(Yuki lays himself next to the wounded Joker.)

Makoto Yuki: How'd you know about me?

Joker: We'll..... your friends told me a lot about you..... Aigis..... Mitsuru.....

Makoto Yuki: Huh..... I wonder how they're holding up?

Joker: They're doing great..... living their lives as they can.....

(Yuki lets out a sigh of relief, clearing a weight off from his shoulders.)
