Hewitt

I'm not entirely comfortable leaving Stefano in New York and coming all the way out here, but this is something that I had to do, and plus, Matteo assured me that he'd look after Stefano, they were on the little vacation he prepares for them both when I left, so I'm sure he really is in good hands.

I haven't been able to get it out of my head, to get him out of my head, and not in a good way, I don't trust him, asides the fact that he betrayed Stefano, there's still just something about him that makes me not like him.
"Hewitt" I heard the voice of the person I came out here to meet jolt me back to reality, I looked at him "are you listening"? He asked and I just shook my head to clear it of all the thoughts.

"Yeah sure, you were saying"? I asked him and he just sighed out

"I said, I'll see what I can find out about him, I'll check through every database we have" he muttered and I just nodded "but don't forget you owe me" he added suggestively and I just looked at him pointedly

"I won't forget, you're making it really hard to forget" I muttered out and he just chuckled out and picked up the piece of paper I had scribbled down his name.

"I'll get you the information you need by tomorrow" he muttered and walked away from me, leaving me in the restaurant, I looked around and I already missed New York, this place is making me home sick

If I didn't need to be here, I'd have skipped this trip, but apparently it needed my attention, so I'm using this opportunity to gather every information I can about Luke
He can't just show up out of nowhere and I'll just relax, there has to be a reason why he's back into Stefano's life, and I want to know why.

I just hope for his sake he's not trying to get back into his life, that's never going to happen, not even In a million years.
I sighed out and ran my hand down my face before I got up and made my way to the elevator, I need to rest, since I've been here, it's been one business meeting and exchange to another, I'm exhausted.

I got into the elevator and pressed the floor to my suite and waited while it moved, I shoved my hands into my pocket.
It didn't take long before I was getting off the elevator and making my way towards my suite, I stopped in front of my door and it wasn't locked, and I remember locking it before I went down to meet Klaus.

I frowned and looked around the corridor but there was no one in sight, who could be inside my suite, I gently placed my hand on my gun that was safely tucked in pants, I felt it cold, I brought it out and slowly pushed the door open with one hand before I stepped inside, all the while staying alert.

My eyes moved around the huge living area of the Suite and there was no sign of anyone, but I could smell a certain perfume, it was strong and I kind of recognize it, making me frown, I walked further inside and I stepped on something, causing me to stop and look at the floor.

It was an item of clothing, I looked around again, but I didn't find anyone, slowly I picked up the item of clothing I just stepped on, it was a shirt, white shirt, but it wasn't mine and it definitely didn't smell like me

I didn't want to alert whoever was inside of my arrival, so I made my way towards the living room but something caught my attention, there were more clothing items on the floor, and they formed a long straight trail leading into the bedroom.
Okay, this is fucking weird, this better not be an assassin or a thief, they'd hate it if I caught them snooping around my stuff.

I slowly followed the trail of clothes and stopped in front of the bedroom door, I held my gun tighter and slowly started pushing the door that seemed to be open.
It creaked open and I could see inside, I walked in slowly but there was no one inside, but the shower was running, causing me to frown even deeper, who the hell is in my room, and why are they so comfortable, they're even in the shower.
