Hewitt

I rubbed my temple as I stared at the two men in front of me, one my best friend, and the other my best friend's boyfriend, I didn't know if I should be angry or aggravated, but I sure as hell know I'm not okay with what they just told me.
I was away for only a few days and everything was going sideways.

I hated the fact that they both thought it was a good idea to go talk to that... That.. God I hated saying his name, Luke.
What were they even thinking going to talk to him, and worse, believing what he said about Stefano's father wanting to kill bl.. Matteo.

"So both of you..." I started looking from Stefano to Matteo "... thought it was a good idea to go talk to Luke while I was away"? I asked and they just sighed out, Matteo looked away from me "God, I thought you would have known better, even you blondie" I gritted out to Matteo and he just looked at me and frowned, shaking his head

"No, no, no, don't look at me like that okay" he said raising his hands up in surrender, I just shake my head at them both "in my defense, it was the right thing to do, I was with him the whole time" Matteo added and I couldn't help but glare at him hard, this is partly his fault, he knows how nervous Stefano gets when it involves his father and his past, he can't make decisions on his own when it comes to this, it was up to Matteo to do that for him, and he just let Stef go see Luke like that.

"You don't seem to get it do you"? I asked and he just gave me that 'explain' look, causing me to sigh out, God, I'm going to grow old with how much I fuss over Stefano "this guy is dangerous and definitely untrustworthy, how come no one is seeing this"? I asked and Stefano just sighed out and his face grew soft as he looked at Matteo and then me.

"Hewitt, we do know that he's dangerous, and me going to see him doesn't mean I trust him, I just.... I wanted to hear him out, you of all people should understand why i needed to see him" he explained, I couldn't help but let my anger down a notch.

I do understand Stefano, it's not like I'm unreasonable, I just worry for him a lot, and there's just something about Luke that bugs me, I hate the guy, and it's not just because of what he did to Stefano, it's just everything about him, he's so obnoxious and so full of himself.

"Stef, I get it, I do, it's not as if I didn't want you to go see him.. it's just... You should have told me, you know how I feel about him" I said softly, I don't want anything to happen to Stefano, he's like a brother to me, it bothered me a whole lot when Luke showed up and he had that panic attack, I don't want something like that to happen again, especially when I'm not around.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I didn't want to bother you" he said with a small smile

"You're not a bother to me Stef, you've never been a bother to me, just... Tell me these things okay" I said to him and he nodded and gave me a sweet smile, my eyes moved from him and landed on Matteo, I narrowed my eyes at him.
"And you blondie, I left him in your care, and the next thing I know, you're letting him go on a suicide mission spree" I gritted out, although I wasn't angry anymore, Matteo just snorted and rolled his eyes at me

"I thought he already apologized, what more do you want from me? You want me to grovel" he spat sarcastically and I just smirked and shrugged

"I wouldn't mind a little grovelling" I said looking at him, knowing it wouldn't take long before I hit a nerve, it's that easy to rile Matteo up, perks of being Stefano's best friend, I get to annoy his boyfriend and Matteo can't do shit about it

"In your dreams Hewitt" he mumbled under his breath as he shuffled and laid down in the couch placing his head on Stefano's lap, Stefano just chuckled and started playing with Matteo's hair, stroking the strands and massaging his scalp "that feels so good baby" he moaned, I'm pretty sure he had forgotten that I was here, causing me to roll my eyes at both of them, a small smile playing on my lips.
