Turns out it's not so bad having Alicia around, we had a little bit of fun, at a point Adriano and I teamed up and teased her too, she's not the only one that can get under my skin, I can do it too, and it felt good doing it.
Adriano had last minute work to do, so he left a few minutes ago, leaving just Alicia and I, we were out in the balcony upstairs, just overlooking the city.

Adriano didn't talk about what we were about to do before Alicia came, and if he was bothered by how I reacted, he didn't show it.
Now I know it's going to take a lot of work before I can move past all this with Adriano
I want to be with him, and because of that I'm ready to work on it, but it's going to take a while, and before we do that, I have to talk to him, extensively about my feelings for Hewitt and how it's affecting my relationship with him

"What happened in New York"? Alicia asked, causing me to look at her.
I let out a heavy sigh

"What makes you think something happened in New York"? I asked and she just gave me a pointed look

"First of all, Hewitt is there, second you ignored my calls, third, you went there on good terms with Adriano, but came back obviously almost breaking up with him" she rushed out and I sighed out

"We didn't break up" I muttered out and she rolled her eyes at me

"You're saying this because you didn't see him yesterday" she muttered out, I frowned and looked at her

"You saw him yesterday"? I asked and she nodded

"Yes, he came over to my place, asked if I had spoken to you and I told him I didn't even know you were back, I tried to get him to tell me what happened, but he just told me not to worry and left, but I knew something was up, he didn't seem like his usual self, and there was this fear in his eyes" she rushed out and I bit my lips, feeling guilty all over again, for making him suffer for something he knows nothing about.
"So tell me, what happened in New York"? She asked again

I ran my tongue along the rim of my lips, licking it, before I smacked my tongue against the roof of my mouth
"Hewitt has feelings for me" I blurted out, Alicia's head whipped sideways and she stared at me wide eyed

"What? How did you know, I mean..." She paused looking at me, I just gave her an impassive blank look "he told you"? She asked and I nodded, chewing on my bottom lip, reminiscing back on my conversation with him in the bathroom, the way he had looked at me, the urge I had to damn everything right then and there and just give in to him, but I couldn't, I can't.
And it's not because of all the shitty things he said and did to me, it's because I don't know if I can trust Hewitt with my heart, I'm scared.
"What did you tell him"? She asked and I just shrugged, looking down at the city

"What do you think I told him"? I asked and she bit her lips, waiting for me to answer my question and hers.
"I can't do it" I rasped out

"Why"? She asked in a whisper and my head whipped sideways, my eyes resting on her

"What do you mean why? Alicia I'm dating Adriano" I rushed out to her, and she gave me a blank look before she looked down the railing, I thought she wouldn't say anything again, until she looked back up and her eyes found mine

"Okay, you're dating Adriano, but I know you Luke, and I know there's a reason why you don't want to think about being with Hewitt and it's not because you're dating Adriano" she muttered out, I gritted my teeth together, before I looked away from her.

Looking at her made me feel like she was saying the truth, there's a reason why I don't want to think of the possibility of Hewitt being truthful about his feelings for me, and she's right, it's not because I'm dating Adriano
