I just stood there looking at him, my mind was divided, in a conflict.
He's not supposed to know, no one is supposed to know.
He's bluffing
I scoffed out and cocked my brows at him.
"What the fuck are you talking about"? I asked trying to call his bluff but he just smirked at me, he was fucking smirking at me, like he knew that he was on the right path

How the hell did he figure it out "you're in love with him" he whispered out and I just felt my heart skip a beat, he knows, he fucking knows, I didn't react, no, I didn't want to show him that he was in fact correct "you know, when you first showed up I tried so hard to figure out why you were here, why show up now, I came up with nothing" he started looking at me "and then I took the time to think really hard, and I figured it out, I figured out why you're here, you have feelings for him, God I can't fucking believe it" he whispered out looking around the corridor.

I clenched my jaw and tried to play it cool, he's just saying this on a hunch, he's not actually 100% sure, I can just lie, deny it and he will let it go
"I don't know what you're on about, but...." He cut me off with a hard glare

"Oh I know what I'm saying and I am 100% fucking sure that deep down you know I'm right, you're in love with Stefano, and something tells me he doesn't know" he pressed further and I let out a shaky breath, shutting me eyes.

This is not good, of all the people that had to find out, him.
This is really bad, what am I gonna do?
I was fucking speechless, I couldn't get out of this, I just stood there, bitting my cheek as I stared at him, he had this smug look on his face, I hated it so much, he had something on me and it was so solid that I couldn't get out of it

How did he even know, I was hiding it so well, or so I thought

He sighed out and took two steps closer to me, making me to take one back, now I was kind of petrified, since I've been in New York, since meeting him, I was kind of scared, not of him, but of the fact that he knew something about me that could jeopardize my chances of ever being back in Stefano's life.

Imagine what will happen if Stefano ever found out that I have feelings for him?
I swallowed hard as I stared into his silver eyes, he was glaring at me and the same time judging me, I felt naked in front of him.
"I'm not here to exchange words with you, I'm only going to keep saying the same thing, you're not getting back into his life, he's better off without you, so stay away from Stefano" he whispered out close to my face, I could feel his breath on my cheek and the smell of his cologne hit me, dusty "if you don't stay away from him, I'm going to be forced to tell him" he threatened and I sucked in a harsh breath.

I could feel an impounding headache coming on, I grimaced and clenched my jaw, he just stared at me for a second, for the first time since I met him, he was threatening me and I didn't have anything to say to him, I didn't have any comeback, any smart retort, nothing.
I was just looking at him, he stared me up and down, his silver eyes piercing into me, before he sighed out and walked away from my door.

I watched his back, his shoulders, his legs, and his hair, I just stood there and watched him leave after he just threatened me.
He didn't seem like he was joking, and as much as I want to go against him and still try my luck with Stefano, I couldn't risk him finding out about my feelings for him, especially if I'm not the one telling him

I sighed out and shut the door, resting my back on it, I slid down placed my head in between my legs, I was breathing hard and fast, I just lost my only chance at getting close to Stefano, I can't do anything now.
Hewitt just threatened me, and all I could do was just stand there and watch him.

He wasn't supposed to find out, no one was supposed to find out, it was supposed to be my secret, but I couldn't even keep my own secret hidden and now I have no chance of getting him back.
I think I've finally lost Stefano for good, because if this Hewitt is as serious as he sounded, then he's going to go through with telling Stefano about my secret.
