I sighed out as I made my way to my fridge, pulling out an orange juice and a glass, I filled it up and stood with my back on the kitchen counter, she had her eyes on me
"What"? I asked and she just shrugged

"Nothing, I'm just wondering when you're going to stop doing this" she muttered and I cocked my brows at her

"Stop doing what"? I asked and she just made her way to the chair closest to her, she sat down on it and looked at me

"This.... living like this...." I cut her off

"Don't even start Alicia, I'm not ready for one of your long lectures, what are you doing here"? I asked shutting her off, I know where this whole conversation is going, and to be honest, I'm not really interested in having my younger sister chastise me again.

I think I've had enough of that for the past one week.
Her face grew somber as she let out a deep breath "you know I mean well right"? She asked and I clenched my jaw and turned away from her, placing my hands on the counter.

Of course I know she means well, and I don't meant to be a dick, but I've had a lot of time to think over the past one week, I know what I have to do, and it's not having sex with random strangers here in Italy.

"I'm sorry, I just.... Everyone keeps telling me the same thing, and trust me I know it's the truth, but it's harder than y'all make it out to be" I explained turning around to face her.
I studied her face for a while before I made my way towards her on the chair, I pulled one out and sat myself on it facing her.

I have made up my mind on what to do, and it's along the lines of what Verona talked to me about a few days ago at the club, she's right, if I don't go talk to him for the sake of closure, then I might as well go for the sake of the threat his father has been throwing around.

I ran my hand down my face, stopping at the scruffle on my face "I'm going to need you to hold down the company for me" I muttered and she stared at me, confusion evident in her eyes.

"Why? Do you want some time off like last time"? She asked and I just shook my head

"I'm leaving" I muttered out, her face was blank, like she didn't understand what I was saying, or more like she didn't want to

"You're leaving, is this your way of asking me out of your house"? She asked and I just shook my head

"No, I'm leaving Alicia" I repeated, her facial expression changed, her eyes settled with understanding as she stared at me

"You're going to New York" she stated "you're going to see him"? She asked and I just let out a deep breath
"What are you going to tell him? I mean why"? She asked.

"I have to... No, I need to, if not for anything, for the fact that we both deserve the closure" I explained to her "and you're right, I can't keep living like this, I need a change of scenerey" I told her with a smile, she didn't return it, she just looked at me with concern in her eyes.

"Are you sure about this? I mean, it's been years you saw him and...." I cut her off

"I'm sure, I have to do it, I don't have much of a choice and plus, I have to warn him" I added and she frowned at me

"Warn him? Of what"? She asked

"Winston came to my office a few days ago" I muttered out looking at my hands on the countertop

"Winston? I thought you stopped working for him"? She asked and I just nodded

"I did, apparently he didn't get the memo" I told her, she knows a lot about Winston and the things he made me do, I think that's one of the reasons why she thinks what happened with Stefano wasn't my fault.
I think she's the only one who knows what really happened between Winston, Stefano and I, and I didn't even have to tell her, she pieced it all together on her own.
