Immediately I stepped into the house, all the lights turned on, and I had to squint so I could see properly.
"Took you long enough" I heard Alicia's voice, before my eyes adjusted to the light, and I could actually see her, she was sprawled out on the couch, watching me like I was some freaking TV show.

I sighed out heavily as I made my way towards the couch, she made space for me and I sat down with a heavy sigh
"So...." She drawled out getting up on the couch and sitting down, her eyes on me, she was giving me that mischievous look again
"How was your date"? She asked and I just shrugged, my mind going back to how the evening had actually gone, up until the moment Adriano had kissed me.
"Oh my goodness, you're fucking blushing" she squealed out, causing my head to snap to her direction, she was grinning wildly at me "what the fuck happened on your date, and why are you blushing when I asked about it"? She asked, scooting closer to me.

There's no way I'm blushing, she's just exaggerating "you're totally blushing" she commented, letting me know I had said that out loud, I rolled my eyes at her and looked away from her.
"Let me guess, he took you to a fancy restaurant, bought you the most expensive shit on their menu and took you on a rooftop star gazing"? She rushed out and I just looked at her and frowned , before I slowly shook my head, her face pulled up into a frown

"Actually, he didn't take me to a fancy restaurant, he didn't flaunt his money in my face" I started causing her frown to deepen "he took me a hospital" I whispered out, and i could see the confused look Alicia was giving me, I had that look too when we just arrived at the hospital earlier on "a hospital for kids with cancer" I whispered out with a heavy sigh, and I saw her face grow soft, her eyes glistening over, she quickly scooted even closer to me, placing her hand on my thighs and giving it a gentle squeeze, I looked at her and sighed out heavily

"Does he...." She started and I quickly shook my head, knowing what she was asking about

"No, no, no definitely not, and no he doesn't have a kid there or a brother there, he just ..." I paused and sighed out heavily "they're like family to him, and he wanted me to meet them" I said looking at her, she cracked up a weak sad smile, but I could see the pride in her eyes for Adriano, I felt that way too when I saw how he was with the kids.

"Did you like it? I mean were you comfortable meeting them"? She asked and I just shrugged, a smile gracing my lips as I remembered my experience with them, especially Fresco

"It was okay, I liked it, they were very accommodating and sweet, and inquisitive too" I explained chuckling at the last part, I looked at her and she was grinning at me, I know she's about to say something ridiculous.

"Just one date,and you're already meeting his family, touche" she muttered out, smirking, I just rolled my eyes at her

"It's nothing like that, and they aren't really his family, they're just.... Very close to his heart, and he's comfortable around them" I whispered out

"So...." She drawled out again, giving me that her mischievous look again, causing me to raise my brow up at her "what happened after that"? She asked and I just shrugged

"Nothing, I had fun with them, we talked, we ate, Adriano read to them, and I thanked them for a warm welcome and we left" I rushed out, and she groaned, tilting her head back on the couch briefly before she was back to staring at me again

"Don't be so vague, I stayed here all evening waiting for you to come and give me some juicy stuff, give me more details brother" she rushed out, I just shook my head at her

"What else do you want to hear"? I mumbled out, looking away from her, I could feel the nervousness slowly creep in, my mind going back to the kiss I shared with Adriano a few minutes ago just outside my gates.
"Oh my God, you're blushing again, that's twice in one night, what exactly did he do to you"? She squealed out, making me realize that I may be blushing, because I could feel the heat on my face and neck, well I'm only blushing because she keeps pointing it out, and she keeps reminding me of what happened between us.
