The WayV dorm was unusually quiet, which was exactly how Yangyang liked it when he needed to retreat into his precious, private world. Carefully locking his bedroom door, he checked the space one last time, making sure everything was set up perfectly : a soft blanket on the floor, his favorite plushie nearby, and his pastel pacifier tucked within reach.

Being in littlespace wasn't something Yangyang indulged in often, but when he did, it was a sanctuary. For over a year, he'd managed to keep it hidden, scared of being a burden. Kun, Ten, and Hendery were natural caregivers, always looking out for the group. But Kun already had his hands full with Junnie (Xiaojun), who sometimes fell into littlespace after stressful days. Yangyang couldn't imagine taking attention away from him, or asking for the same kind of care.

Today was supposed to be a normal day. Yangyang was helping Ten in the kitchen, preparing dinner for an evening with some of the NCT 127 members: Johnny, Winwin, and Jaehyun. Junnie had slipped into littlespace earlier after a nightmare, and Jaehyun and Hendery were in the living room keeping him entertained while the others worked on dinner.

"Yangyang, can you set the table?" Ten asked, stirring a pot.

"Got it!" Yangyang grabbed a few glasses and headed to the dining area. But as he turned the corner, his foot caught on something, a stray toy Junnie had left behind.

The shatter of glass echoed in the kitchen, halting the lively chatter from the living room. Yangyang sat frozen on the floor, shards scattered around him. His elbow throbbed where a sharp piece had nicked him, but Kun's worried and angry voice drowned everything out.

"Yangyang! What are you doing?" Kun's voice was sharp as he rushed over, his worry for Junnie evident. "Do you know how dangerous this is? Junnie could've crawled into this mess and gotten hurt!"

The sting of the injury, combined with the overwhelming guilt and the rising panic in Kun's voice, became too much. Yangyang felt himself slipping, his mind retreating into the safety of littlespace. He managed to stammer out a soft apology before bolting to his room, tears streaming down his face.

Yangyang's safe place was his room, and as soon as he shut the door behind him, his tears turned into sobs. Littlespace fully embraced him now, his thoughts slipping into the simplicity of his "Yangie" mindset. His stuffed bear, Mochi, was quickly pulled into his arms, and he sat on the floor, clutching it tightly, hiccuping through his tears.

Outside, Kun was still fuming, his worry for Junnie clouding his ability to calm down. Ten noticed the droplets of blood on the floor.

"Wait, Kun-hyung," he said, his voice tight. "Yangyang might be hurt."

"I'll clean this up," Winwin said quickly, glancing at Winwin for help. "Johnny, Ten, can you go check on him?"

Johnny nodded, heading to Yangyang's room with Ten, while the others remained in the kitchen.

Ten knocked softly on Yangyang's door. When there was no answer, Johnny turned the handle cautiously, it wasn't locked.

They peeked inside and froze.

Yangyang sat on the floor, sobbing into his stuffed bear. His room was a quiet little haven - soft blankets, a few toys tucked into corners, and stickers decorating his desk. Everything screamed innocence, vulnerability, and a side of Yangyang they'd never seen.
