Seungkwan woke to a dull throb at the base of his skull. He squinted against the sunlight filtering through the hotel curtains and sighed. A migraine. He had felt it coming on the night before but hoped sleep would cure it. Stretching lazily, he reached for the small travel pouch on his nightstand, fishing out a painkiller.

"It'll pass," he murmured to himself, swallowing the pill with a sip of water. "I just need to get through today."

The day was packed with activities: final rehearsals, soundchecks, and pre-show interviews. By the time they reached the venue, the pain in Seungkwan's head had become a sharp, relentless pressure, but he plastered on a smile and carried on. He avoided lingering under the bright stage lights during soundcheck and resisted wincing when loud instructions were called out across the stage.

His members noticed the small signs. Jeonghan nudged him gently between rehearsals. "You okay, Boo? You're a little quiet today."

Seungkwan forced a chuckle, waving him off. "I'm fine, hyung. Just saving energy for tonight."

But as the hours ticked by, it became harder to mask his discomfort. By the time the concert began, his head felt like it was splitting. The cheers of CARATs, usually a source of joy, felt like they were drilling into his skull. Even so, Seungkwan performed with all the energy he could muster, determined not to let anyone down.

He thought he was hiding it well, but the members weren't fooled.

The concert ended with a deafening roar from the crowd, and Seventeen bowed deeply, thanking CARATs for their unwavering love. Seungkwan's vision swam as he straightened, and his knees wobbled slightly. He tightened his grip on his mic and forced a smile.

Backstage, the adrenaline that had kept him going began to fade. His steps faltered as they made their way down the hall.

"Seungkwan, you okay?" Minghao's voice was calm but laced with concern.

"I'm fine," Seungkwan mumbled. But before the words had fully left his lips, his body betrayed him.

The world tilted, and the floor rushed up to meet him.

"Seungkwan!" Minghao was by his side in an instant, catching him just as his legs gave out.

The hallway erupted into chaos. Joshua dropped his water bottle, rushing to Minghao's side, while Woozi shouted for their manager. The other members crowded around, their faces pale with worry.

"He's burning up," Jeonghan said, pressing a hand to Seungkwan's forehead.

"Don't crowd him," Minghao instructed firmly, his calm demeanor anchoring the group. "We need to get him to a hospital."

The hospital room was small but packed. Despite the nurse's protests, all thirteen members had crammed inside, unwilling to leave Seungkwan alone. They had dragged in extra chairs from the waiting room, creating makeshift seating wherever they could. Mingyu and Hoshi sat cross-legged on the floor, while Jun and Dino shared a single chair. Woozi perched on the windowsill, his arms crossed tightly, his eyes never leaving Seungkwan's pale face.

"I told him to take it easy," Jeonghan muttered, running a hand through his hair. "Why didn't he say anything?"

"Because he's Seungkwan," Joshua replied softly. "He didn't want to worry us."

The room was quiet except for the occasional rustle as someone shifted position. Exhaustion weighed heavily on them, but none of them could bring themselves to leave.

Minghao sat closest to the bed, his eyes fixed on Seungkwan's face. "He'll be fine," he said, more to himself than anyone else.

The first thing Seungkwan noticed when he opened his eyes was the soft, golden glow of the early morning sun streaming through the window. The sharp pain in his head had dulled to a faint ache, and his body felt heavy but calm.

He blinked slowly, his vision focusing on the room around him. It was cramped but familiar, filled with the comforting presence of his members. Jeonghan was slumped against a chair, his head resting on Joshua's shoulder. Mingyu was sprawled out on the floor, snoring softly, while Hoshi and Dino were curled up like puppies beside him.

A quiet chuckle drew Seungkwan's attention. Vernon was sitting by his bedside, watching him with a small, relieved smile.

"Hey," Vernon whispered. "You're awake."

Seungkwan tried to sit up, but Vernon quickly placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't. Just rest."

Looking around the room, Seungkwan's eyes softened. "They all stayed..."

"Of course they did," Vernon said with a shrug. "You really think we'd leave you alone? You scared the hell out of us, Boo."

A lump formed in Seungkwan's throat. "Sorry for worrying you guys."

Vernon shook his head. "Don't apologize. Just... next time, tell us. Don't push yourself so hard."

Seungkwan smiled weakly, his heart swelling with gratitude. "Thanks, Vernon. For staying awake. For... everything."

Vernon's expression softened, and he reached out to squeeze Seungkwan's hand gently. "Always, Boo. Now get some rest. We've got you."

As Seungkwan's eyes drifted shut again, the room settled into peaceful silence. Outside, the sun climbed higher, signaling a new day filled with hope and healing.
