So I've decided to do an another ADHD story, hope you like. I think this one is longer than the other chapter 1600 words
Han sat cross-legged on the dorm couch, his notebook resting on his knees, pen tapping rhythmically against the page. He had been trying to finish writing a new verse for over an hour, but his thoughts kept jumping from one thing to another — the random beat playing in his head, the snacks Changbin had stashed in the kitchen, even the odd sound from the washing machine. He let out a frustrated sigh, snapping back to reality only to realize he had barely written a single line.
It wasn't just today, either. Recently, it seemed that staying focused on anything was getting harder and harder. Even during practice, his mind would drift off mid-dance, or he'd find himself zoning out during meetings. He knew he wasn't lazy; in fact, he wanted to focus. But no matter how hard he tried, his thoughts kept scattering.
The other members started to notice too. Changbin would nudge him whenever he zoned out during practice. Seungmin had joked about his "spaced-out face," and Hyunjin even teased him about forgetting their schedule every other day. It was all in good fun, but Han was starting to worry. He couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right.
One evening, after a particularly frustrating practice, Chan approached him as he lingered in the studio, staring blankly at the page in front of him. "Hey, Han," Chan's voice was soft, carrying that familiar tone of concern. "You doing okay?"
Han tried to brush it off with a grin, "Yeah, yeah, just... zoning out a lot lately. I'll get it together."
But Chan wasn't convinced. "I've noticed," he said, sitting beside Han on the floor. "You seem distracted, more than usual. We all space out sometimes, but it's been affecting your work, your focus... even your mood."
Han sighed, finally admitting the truth. "It's like my mind just won't sit still. I want to focus, but I can't."
Chan nodded thoughtfully, listening without judgment. "Maybe... maybe it could help to talk to someone. A doctor, I mean. Sometimes they can give us insight into stuff we don't understand ourselves." He offered a reassuring smile. "It's worth checking out, don't you think?"
Han hesitated, looking down at his notebook. A doctor? The thought had never crossed his mind, but now that Chan suggested it, it made sense. Maybe he could find out why his brain was constantly racing, why staying focused felt so impossible.
After a moment, he nodded. "Yeah... okay. I'll give it a shot."
Chan's face softened, and he placed a comforting hand on Han's shoulder. "Good. We're here for you, whatever you need."
Han smiled, feeling a little more hopeful. The idea of seeing a doctor was a bit nerve-wracking, but if it helped him understand himself better, maybe it was exactly what he needed.

A few days after Chan's suggestion, Han sat in the waiting room of the clinic, shifting nervously in his seat. He hadn't mentioned the appointment to the other members, not wanting to make a big deal out of it, but Chan had insisted on coming along for support. Now, Chan sat beside him, scrolling through his phone, occasionally giving him reassuring smiles.
"How are you feeling?" Chan asked, sensing Han's nervous energy.
Han shrugged, fidgeting with the sleeve of his hoodie. "Honestly? A little freaked out." He chuckled, but it came out shaky. "I've never done anything like this before. What if it's nothing? Or... what if it's something serious?"
"It's normal to feel that way," Chan replied, his tone calm and steady. "Just remember, this isn't about labels or diagnoses. It's just about understanding yourself a little better. And whatever it is, it doesn't change who you are to us."
