Dino sat at his desk, staring blankly at his textbook. The classroom buzzed with the usual noise of students chatting and laughing, but he felt like he was in a different world. His thoughts drowned out the noise, looping endlessly around the harsh words and jeering laughter of his bullies.

"You're a fraud. Just quit already, SEVENTEEN doesn't need you."
"Think you're special because you're an idol? Pathetic."

At first, it was just words. But over time, the bullying escalated. The shoves in the hallways turned into fists, and the mocking looks turned into calculated cruelty. Dino would flinch at sudden movements, bracing himself for the next hit.

That afternoon, as he packed up to leave gym class, the bullies cornered him again.

"Hey, idol boy," one sneered, grabbing him by the collar and slamming him into the lockers. "How's your glamorous life, huh?"

Dino winced as his back collided with the cold metal. Before he could respond, another fist connected with his stomach, forcing the air out of his lungs.

"You're just dead weight in your group," another spat, landing a punch to his jaw. "Why don't you quit before they kick you out?"

When they finally left, Dino sank to the floor, clutching his side. Blood trickled from a split lip, and bruises were already forming on his arms and face. He bit back tears, telling himself to hold it together. He couldn't let his hyungs see him like this.

That evening, Dino walked into the dorm, his steps slow and deliberate. His uniform was rumpled, and he kept his head down to hide his injuries.

"Chan-ah, you're late again," Jeonghan called from the living room.

Dino muttered a vague excuse about school projects and tried to slip past, but Seungcheol noticed the way he was walking.

"Chan, are you okay?" Seungcheol asked, concern lacing his tone.

"I'm fine," Dino replied quickly, his voice tight.

But as he turned toward his room, Vernon caught sight of the bruise on his jaw. "Wait, what happened to your face?"

"It's nothing," Dino said, his voice cracking. "I just... I fell during gym class."

"Fell?" Joshua echoed, his eyes narrowing. "Chan, tell us the truth."

"I said I'm fine!" Dino snapped, his voice trembling as he pulled away and hurried to his room. He shut the door behind him and leaned against it, his chest heaving. He bit his lip to stifle the sobs threatening to escape.

The members exchanged worried glances, but they decided to give him space for the moment.

The next day, Dino's bullies were relentless. They cornered him again during lunch, this time in a secluded hallway.

"You didn't get enough yesterday, huh?" one said, shoving him against the wall.

Dino tried to stay calm, but his body betrayed him, trembling with fear. The first punch landed on his ribs, followed by another to his shoulder. He winced as one of them grabbed his arm and twisted it painfully.

"Maybe if we break something, you'll get the message," another sneered.

When they finally let him go, Dino stumbled to the bathroom, clutching his aching side. He stared at his reflection in the mirror, taking in the new bruises and the fresh blood dripping from his lip.

That evening, Dino barely made it through the dorm door before collapsing onto the couch. The members rushed to his side, alarmed by the sight of him. His uniform was stained with dirt, and his face was swollen with bruises.

"Chan!" Seungcheol exclaimed, kneeling beside him. "What happened to you?"

Dino tried to wave them off, but his hands were shaking. "It's nothing. Just leave me alone."

"No," Jeonghan said firmly, crouching in front of him. "You've been saying that for weeks. We're not letting this go."

"Chan, please talk to us," Joshua urged, his voice gentle but insistent.

At their persistence, Dino broke. Tears streamed down his face as he sobbed, "I'm being bullied at school. They hate me because I'm an idol. They say I don't belong in SEVENTEEN, that I'm a burden. And maybe... maybe they're right."

"What?" Hoshi said, his voice breaking as he stepped closer. "Chan, no. Don't say that. Don't even think it."

"They're right," Dino choked out. "I'm not good enough. I mess up during practice. I'm the youngest...I just drag you all down. Maybe I should quit.."

"Stop!" Hoshi exclaimed, pulling Dino into a tight embrace. Dino resisted for a moment, but then he broke completely, sobbing into Hoshi's shoulder.

"It's okay, Chan," Hoshi whispered, his own voice trembling. "Cry all you need to. We're here for you."

Dino's body shook with the force of his sobs, years of pent-up pain pouring out in waves. Hoshi held him tightly, gently rubbing his back. The other members gathered around, creating a circle of warmth and comfort.

"You're not a burden," Jeonghan said softly. "You're our little brother, and we love you."

"You're one of the most talented, hardworking people I know," Joshua added.

"You've got us," Seungcheol said firmly. "We'll get through this together."

The next day, the members accompanied Dino to his school. They met with the principal, the bullies, and their parents.

Seungcheol spoke calmly but firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Chan has been subjected to severe physical and emotional bullying. This is unacceptable, and it stops today. If it doesn't, we will take legal action."

The bullies' parents apologized profusely, and the principal assured them that steps would be taken to protect Dino moving forward.

Though the bullying stopped, the aftermath lingered. Dino still struggled with the emotional scars. One night, Seungkwan approached Seungcheol. "Chan's still not himself. I think he needs more help."

Seungcheol nodded. "I've been thinking the same thing. We should find someone he can talk to."

When they brought it up to Dino, he was hesitant but eventually agreed.

Over the next few weeks, Dino began seeing a psychiatrist. In their sessions, he opened up about his experiences, his fears, and the self-doubt that had taken root. Slowly, he started to heal.

One evening, as the members gathered for dinner, Dino looked around at his hyungs, a small smile playing on his lips.

"It's good to see you smiling again," Vernon said, nudging him playfully.

"Thanks, hyung," Dino said, his voice steady. "I'm getting there."

"You're stronger than you think, Chan," Seungcheol said with a proud smile.

Dino felt a warmth he hadn't felt in months. For the first time, he truly believed that he wasn't alone - and he never would be again.
