Stray Kids were deep in preparation for their next comeback, putting in hours of practice every day. Seungmin, known for his dedication and perfectionism, was especially determined to master every vocal and dance detail. He would stay late at the studio, running through his lines and perfecting each move long after the other members had gone back to the dorms.
One evening, after another intense practice, Seungmin could barely keep his eyes open. The fatigue had been creeping up on him for days, but he'd brushed it aside, thinking he could handle it. However, his body had started sending warning signs: headaches, muscle aches, and a heavy fatigue that wouldn't go away no matter how much coffee he drank. But Seungmin didn't want to slow down; he felt like he owed it to the group to give his best, especially with the comeback so close.
Late one night, as he was rehearsing alone, he felt his vision blur. His head throbbed, and he wobbled slightly as he tried to keep dancing. Chan, who had been watching over him, noticed his unsteady movements and quickly stepped in, placing a hand on Seungmin's shoulder.
"Seungmin, you're pushing yourself too hard," Chan said, concern evident in his voice. "You need to rest."
Seungmin shook his head. "I just need a bit more practice, hyung. I'm almost there."
But before he could finish, his legs gave out, and he collapsed onto the floor. Chan, startled, caught him just in time, lowering him gently. The noise drew in the rest of the members, who had just returned to the studio.
"Seungmin!" Felix gasped, rushing over. "Are you okay?"
Hyunjin knelt down, handing Seungmin a bottle of water. "You've been overworking yourself. We've all noticed. You need to take a break."
Seungmin tried to push himself up, but the exhaustion was overwhelming. "I just... I don't want to let you all down."
"How could you ever let us down?" Changbin said, resting a reassuring hand on Seungmin's shoulder. "You're part of this team, and we need you to be healthy."
With the support of his friends, Seungmin finally agreed to take a break. They insisted he rest for a few days, and Chan even arranged for some extra time off from practice for him. During those days, the members made sure to check on him constantly, bringing him food, hanging out with him, and helping him relax.
One evening, as they all sat together in the dorm, watching a movie and laughing, Seungmin felt a deep sense of gratitude. His friends' support reminded him that he didn't need to carry everything on his shoulders alone.
When Seungmin returned to practice, he was more refreshed and balanced, determined to work hard—but this time, with the help and support of his group. Together, they finished preparing for their comeback, stronger than ever as a team.
