It was a beautiful morning in Seoul, and the TXT members were gearing up for an important rehearsal. Yeonjun was already there, as usual, stretching to prepare himself physically. His bandmates watched him, admiring his dedication and determination. However, behind his bright smile, something was troubling him.
Every rehearsal, Yeonjun followed a meticulous routine, performing precise movements that he repeated tirelessly. Although his friends were concerned about his intensity, they simply thought he was very serious about their performance. They had no idea that behind this need for perfection lay something deeper.
One day, while they were taking a break, Soobin noticed that Yeonjun seemed uncomfortable. He kept rubbing his hands and checking the surroundings, as if ensuring everything was in order. Growing concerned, Soobin brought it up with the other members, and they decided to talk to Yeonjun.
"Yeonjun, are you sure everything's okay?" Huening Kai asked, his eyes filled with concern. "You seem a bit... different lately."
Surprised by the attention, Yeonjun tried to brush off the question with a smile. "Of course, I'm fine! Just a little tired, that's all."
But Beomgyu's worried look wouldn't leave him alone. "You know you can talk to us, anytime, right?" he added, taking on a more serious tone.
Eventually, Yeonjun gave in to the gentle but insistent pressure from his friends. He sat down with them and, after a moment of hesitation, opened up. "Actually, I... I have OCD. It pushes me to check and repeat things over and over. Sometimes it becomes overwhelming."
The TXT members exchanged surprised glances. They had never realized that Yeonjun's behavior was related to a disorder. They were concerned but also relieved that he had finally shared what he was feeling.
"You're not alone, Yeonjun," Taehyun said empathetically. "We're here to help you."
"Yeah!" Beomgyu chimed in. "Whatever you need, we'll do everything to support you."
With his friends' encouragement, Yeonjun felt a little lighter. He had shared his burden, and although the road to healing would be long, he knew he could count on TXT to support him.
As the days passed, the group began to adapt some of their practices to make Yeonjun feel more comfortable. They reminded him to take breaks and made sure he didn't feel rushed. Together, they worked not only on their music but also on each other's well-being.
That day, Yeonjun realized that his strength lay not only in his talent but also in his vulnerability. With his friends by his side, he was ready to face his struggles and move forward, one day at a time.
I take request.
