1400 words.

Lee Know leaned against the walls of the JYP building, rubbing his tired eyes. The comeback preparations had been intense, with relentless schedules and sleepless nights. He felt stretched thin, but he wasn't one to complain. Every member was exhausted, every one of them pushing hard. But lately, he'd noticed something else-a blurring and scrambling of words that reminded him of his childhood struggles with dyslexia.

He thought he'd left all that behind. Through sheer practice and grit, he'd learned to read well enough to keep it hidden. None of the members knew; he'd made sure of it. But these last few days, the lines he'd been reading seemed to twist and merge more than usual. He chalked it up to fatigue-everyone was tired, after all. He just needed to try harder.

In the recording studio, 3RACHA waited for him to record his part. Lee Know stepped into the booth, taking a deep breath as he held the lyric sheet in his hand. He could see the words, but something wasn't right. The letters seemed to jumble together, like an impossible puzzle he was suddenly too tired to solve.

The music began, and he tried his best to focus, letting muscle memory take over. But on his first attempt, he stumbled over the lines, mixing up a few words. Bang Chan's voice crackled over the intercom, gentle but surprised.

"Hey, Minho, you good? Want to try that one more time?"

Lee Know swallowed hard, nodding as he braced himself. "Yeah, let's go again."

He tried a second time, then a third, but each time the words seemed to blur more, frustrating him until he could barely force them out. He clenched his fists, his mind scrambling. Why couldn't he get it right?

Outside the booth, Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han exchanged glances. They knew he was tired, but they could tell something else was off. Han looked particularly worried, his brows furrowed as he leaned toward the intercom. "Hyung, it's okay," he said softly. "We can take a break if you need it."

Lee Know's frustration only intensified, twisting into something sharper. He forced himself through one more attempt but stumbled again, and this time, he couldn't hold it back.

"Why can't I do this?" he muttered, his voice cracking. Suddenly, he pushed open the door of the booth, brushing past the others as he stormed out of the studio.

"Minho!" Bang Chan called, trying to follow him, but Lee Know was already gone, leaving his phone and everyone's worried faces behind him. He didn't stop moving, feeling trapped and furious. No one understood, and he didn't know how to make them understand-not when he'd kept this part of himself hidden for so long.

He shoved open the door to the building and stepped outside, feeling the cool night air hit his face. Without a destination in mind, he just started walking, his heart pounding as he tried to process the mess of feelings raging inside him.

Hours passed, though he hardly noticed. The streets grew quieter as the night deepened, but he kept walking, trying to sort out his thoughts. The truth he'd kept buried for so long seemed to press harder against him now, as if fighting to be let out. But he couldn't share it. He couldn't bring himself to look weak in front of his friends and team, to admit he had a problem that sometimes made reading feel like a cruel riddle he'd never solve.

As he walked, the memory of his childhood flooded back-the extra lessons, the shame he'd felt when he'd fallen behind in reading, the endless hours he'd spent trying to train his brain to understand what others seemed to grasp so easily. He'd fought his way through all that so no one would ever know. And he'd succeeded-until now.

In the studio, Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin paced around in confusion and worry. Bang Chan tried calling him repeatedly, but every call went unanswered. Han's worry deepened with each passing minute. "Should we call the others?" he asked, voice tight with concern.

"I think we should," Bang Chan replied, reaching for his phone. "He wouldn't just walk out like that. Something's seriously wrong."

When Lee Know finally returned to the dorm hours later, it was well past midnight. He felt hollow and exhausted, his body aching from the long walk. He quietly unlocked the door, slipping inside to find all the lights on. The members were waiting for him, and the relief on their faces was immediate.

Before he could say a word, Hyunjin rushed over, pulling him into a tight hug. "Hyung, where were you? We were so worried."

Seungmin's voice was unusually soft. "You didn't answer any calls. We didn't know if you were okay."

Lee Know didn't respond immediately, feeling a knot tighten in his throat. He tried to hold himself together, but the warmth of their concern was too much. Slowly, he sank onto the couch, his hands shaking slightly. He didn't know how to start. But as he looked up at his members' faces, he realized he couldn't hide it anymore.

"I... I need to tell you something," he began, his voice barely above a whisper. The words felt heavy, like they'd been waiting for years to come out. "I've had dyslexia since I was a kid."

The silence that followed was thick, but it was only for a moment. Bang Chan immediately sat down beside him, his face softening with understanding. "Minho, I had no idea. I can't imagine how hard that's been for you."

Lee Know nodded, struggling to keep his composure. "I've worked on it for so long, trained myself to handle it. But recently... with the lack of sleep, it's been getting worse. The words in the lyrics-sometimes they all just look the same. I was afraid to say anything, but today... I just couldn't hide it anymore."

Han reached over, his hand resting gently on Lee Know's shoulder. "Hyung, I'm so sorry. We didn't know... we thought you were just tired. But if you'd told us, we could've helped."

"It's not something I like talking about," Lee Know admitted, feeling a mix of relief and vulnerability. "I didn't want anyone to see it as a weakness. I thought I could handle it alone."

Changbin's expression was serious but gentle. "Hyung, you don't have to handle everything on your own. We're your team. No! we're your family. We're here for you, no matter what."

The words sank in, easing the burden Lee Know had been carrying. For the first time, he felt a sense of relief as he realized he wasn't alone in this. He didn't have to bear the weight of his struggles in silence.

In the days that followed, the members stepped up to support him in small, meaningful ways. Felix began helping him review lyrics, reading through each line slowly and making sure Lee Know felt comfortable. Hyunjin offered to stay up with him during late-night practices, giving quiet encouragement whenever he struggled. Seungmin even suggested finding an app or a reading tool that might help him with lyrics during intense schedules, something he could lean on without needing to explain himself each time.

The change was gradual but powerful. Slowly, Lee Know's anxiety around the lyrics began to fade. In the studio, with 3RACHA once again by his side, he felt a newfound confidence, his focus sharpened by the knowledge that he didn't have to face these struggles alone.

As he sang his lines, a warmth filled him, the words coming out clear and strong. When he finished, Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin all smiled, their expressions filled with pride and relief. There was no frustration now, no pressure, just the comfort of being understood.

Afterward, the members crowded around him, offering quiet congratulations. Lee Know didn't say much, but he didn't need to. Their presence was enough.

That night, as they walked back to the dorm, Lee Know felt lighter than he had in years. The weight he'd carried alone had finally been shared, and he knew that, from here on, he'd never have to bear it alone again. And for the first time, he truly believed that his dyslexia wasn't a weakness. It was a part of him, one he didn't have to hide, because he had people who would be with him every step of the way.
