A H A D

They say Love is the best feeling in the world, have they ever tasted success? The feeling of holding immense power, entering a place and people move aside in respect to make a way for you, when they know they can't slip away after messing with you!

With these thoughts I leave my room dressed in a grey coloured three piece suit. I meet and speak to Mom for a while.

"Well! You remind me of my old days". Dad joins in from the study. I greet him and they wish me all the best for today. They'll join me later at the venue.

"I've told Asad that you'll pick Inaya up". Dad said and I look at him shocked. What is it with my parents about taking decisions and making commitments on my behalf without informing me?

"I have already told you not to expect anything from me". My voice comes out stern.

"You just have to pick her up. That's it, go now. She might be waiting for you". He said and left quickly leaving no space for any further arguments, I sighed shaking me head and left. These people are just impossible.

Kaif calls me as the engine of my car roars and I drive out of the garage.

"Kahan hai Bhai?" He asks as soon as I recieve it.
(Where are you?)

"Zameen pe hun aur zinda hun. Fikr mat kar thodi der me aa jaunga!" I say bluntly.
(Don't worry. I'm alive and on Earth, I'll be there in a short time.)

"You look pissed". He says and I can sense him rolling his eyes.

"And you are making me more".

"By when will you reach here?" He asked and I thought for a while, because I even have to pick up that walking trouble.

"50 minutes approximately". I said and he gasped audibly. Such a dramatic monkey!

"May I have the pleasure of knowing the reason, respected CEO?" His tone laced with sarcasm.

"NO. Handle it there until I reach". I said and hung up quickly.

I change the gear, the engine roars, the speedometer blinks with the needle on 120kmph. Driving is definitely a thrill!

The vehicle comes to a screeching stop taking a vigorous turn infront of the Mansion after a 20 minutes ride. I walk out to check if she's waiting for me, but there's no one around except for the guards. I take out my phone to call her, but wait! I don't have her number. I mentally facepalm myself and inform one of the guards to go and call her. He nods and leaves.

After few minutes which seem like eternity, she appears out of the main gate and I just stare at her stunned, rooted to my place. How can someone look more beautiful and gorgeous than the last time and every freaking time!

The first time I saw her descending those stairs, my breaths got unsteady. The next time when I spoke to her and she stood close to me, my breath hitched and now when she's walking towards me in that maroon coloured dress with a black overcoat and maroon hijab tucked securely around her head and front, one hand holding her clutch and the other hangs free, my breath has literally stopped. God knows what will happen the next time I'll see her. I just wish I'll be alive atleast, someone being so captivating and appearing frequently infront of you won't kill you right? Please tell me it won't because if it does, I think I should begin preparing for my funeral!

As she comes closer, I take in her features again. Those dark grey empty eyes which seem to hold many mysteries and secrets hiding behind the stoic facade that appears, her long and slender nose followed by full plump lips. Her face holds natural beauty that needs no extra layer of makeup to enhance it. Her face calm and expressionless, steps and gaze calculative, like something within her controls her, stops her from opening up, acting like she wants to. But still she reigns her own empire like a Queen. For a slight minute, I wish wanting to be the one she'll open up to, be herself without any care in the world. Without the thought of being judged, criticized and let down.
