A H A D

We had been at Zara's place for more than an hour now. And Kaif being Kaif had just pushed me inside, telling me to meet Inaya.

I dialled her and she picked up almost immediately as she spoke, "Where are you??"

"Inside, I'm looking for you!" I said and she kept quiet for a while before speaking, "Come up, turn to the right, the second room." She said and the corner of my mouth twitched into a tiny smirk as I hummed.

Looks like someone really missed me alot!

I hung up and walked in the direction she had given to me. As I turned the knob, the door clicked open, revealing Inaya, standing on the balcony.

Upon noticing my presence, she turned around and walked to me, smiling warmly.

And that was when I realised how much I had missed her since yesterday. Those eyes, that soft smile and her enchanting presence. It had been just one day and this was my state! As the distance between us closed, my heart felt more alive, more happy.

As she neared me, I didn't waste a second as I engulfed her into my arms. She sighed heavily, her shoulders relaxing as she giggled under her breath. Her scent took all my worries away, calming me in ways indescribable.

I smiled as I whispered softly, "I missed you so damn much!" My voice was muffled in her hair. She chuckled and her hold around my neck tightened slightly as she spoke teasingly, "but I didn't." I smirked, pulling away just enough to look into her eyes.

They were soft, filled with warmth and love. Something I had craved to see in someone's eyes for me!

"Really?" I asked, my eyes narrowing slightly in interrogation, my tone dripping with amusement.

"Mm-hmm." She nodded her head and I leaned in, "but your eyes are saying something else, sweetheart." I whispered and she looked away, a faint shade of crimson forming on her cheeks.

I smirked mischievously as I turned us around and pinned her against the nearest wall swiftly, caging her in between my arms. She gasped, her hold on my shoulders tightening as she looked down immediately.

I so love this effect I have on her!

"So... You really didn't miss me?" I drawled out, asking again as I leaned closer, our breaths mingling. Her cheeks flushed red as she suppressed a smile and shook her head in a 'no'.

"Look at me!" I demanded and she looked up. Our eyes met, a moment of bliss and understanding passing between us that didn't require words.

"You talked so rudely to me this morning." She pouted cutely and I laughed out loud, but shut up when I got that typical 'wife' glare. I gulped as I spoke sincerely, "I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

She lifted herself up a little and planted a feathery kiss on the corner of my lips. My heart skipped a beat as I stared at her in surprise. She shied away, trying to move out of my hold.

I pulled her closer as I whispered, "So, that means... Apology accepted?" I asked and she looked at me before smiling bashfully and looking away.

Why was she so flustered all of a sudden?

I leaned closer to her lips, but halted abruptly as a knock resonated around in the room. I groaned and looked at her, her eyes were wide in shock as she tried to pull away, "I think it's Zara! Let me see." She whisper yelled.

"Speak from here." I argued.

She huffed lightly and yelled, "YES!!!"

"Inu! Are you in there? Open the door, man."
