A H A D

I stood still rooted at my place for I don't remember how long. I groaned loudly, kicking the wall replaying the words I spoke to her. I shouldn't have said that I didn't care! Every word I said, I shouldn't have.

I walked down hoping she'll be in our room only to frown as the room was empty, I strode towards the balcony but the door was locked from inside. The closet and washroom were also locked.

Then fear gripped me as I thought about the possible consequences.

Did she leave me?

No! No! She can't.

I know, she won't.

I frantically called out hoping she would come out from somewhere only to meet with silence in return. Then my gaze landed at my bedside table, there was a packet and a note.

I brought these for you. Have them.
I'll be back in a while, tell Mom not to worry.

~Inaya.

I quickly picked up the packet and gasped as I saw she had brought my favourite cream buns from Pune. I read her note over and over again, guilt rushing through me. I've really overreacted at such a silly thing.

Then the door swung open and I looked hoping it's Inaya but it was Kaif, grinning at me. I sighed. He's the last person want to meet right now! But anyways he came in and sat beside me grabbing the note from my hand. I tried to snatch it back but couldn't.

He read it amd frowned.

"Where did Bhabhi go?" He asked getting confused.

"I don't know". My voice blank without any tone.

"Did you guys have a fight?" He asked again and I sighed running my fingers through my hair and hummed. I told him everything about how it was my fault. I surely never hide anything from him.

"Have you lost your mind Ahad? You scolded her because she didn't inform you that she has returned. Ya Allahhh!" He groaned frustrated while I stared down not knowing what to say.

"She's a CEO. You being one should understand. She's someone who has traveled around many countries alone, she'll definitely find it logicless for you to rot over such a minor thing". He picked up the bag and continued, "If she didn't miss you, why did she bring these then?" I looked away feeling extremely guilty over my stupid actions and words.

"What do I do now?" I asked desperately ready to go to any limits to get her back.

"You better go, apologise to her and bring her back". He ordered and I got up.

"Have your dinner first". He said and I frowned, "What's the time?"

"9.30 pm" My eyes widened into saucers, "Khana gaya bhaad me, I'm leaving". With that, I left not even caring to change.
(Food went to hell)

I drove like a crazy man, breaking all the traffic rules but I had no idea where to go. I rubbed my forehead worriedly and checked her location but it didn't show anything. I groaned loudly hitting the steering with my palm, the horn blaring.
