I N A Y A

He slammed the accelerator with zero hesitation and the bike surged forward like a beast unleashed. I gasped as I was jerked forward, my hands wrapping around his waist instinctively.

"You okay?" He asked and I could hear the smirk in his voice.

He did this on purpose.

I just rolled my eyes, hiding the blush as I wrapped my arms tighter around his waist, fisting the hem of his leather jacket. "Yes."

He laughed - that low rumble that never failed to rattle my heart. We drove forward. Slow at first. Then faster and I squealed, the thrill bubbling in my chest like I was flying for the first time.

The air slapped against the helmet I was wearing, my hold around Ahad tightened as he took turns with maddening precision.

He was so freaking good at this.

Damn!

I love him so much.

He doubled the speed as we drove into the highway, scenery and people blurred around us as all I could feel was the adrenaline buzzing in my blood.

My heart fluttered when he placed his left hand on my thigh and tilted his head a little towards me, "Is this too much? I can slow down if you say so."

I smiled, resting my chin on his shoulder. "This is fine. Stop if you see a tea stall somewhere." I said, pressing a kiss over the glass of his helmet.

He blushed and I laughed loudly, turning his face forward, "You can blush later or you'll get us killed."

He chuckled, his hand still resting on my thigh as he handled the bike with another.

Why. Is. He. So. Perfect???

We were now moving at a constant speed of hundred, talking randomly and laughing every now and then. I had my head resting on the back of his shoulder, while he practically yelled so that I could hear.

He was basically explaining to me about the sites that came across, the conversation then drifted to his ancestral lands and houses and much more.

Then, all of a sudden, he asked, "You wanna drive?"

I blinked, my eyes turning wide as I exclaimed, "You'll let me?"

He chuckled as he replied, "Only if you aren't planning on living the line, 'Falak tak chal saath mere.'" He sang.
(Come to the skies with me)

I burst out laughing loudly, dropping my head on his shoulder again as I spoke, "Oh, don't worry, I'm good at this." He just hummed and stopped the bike on the roadside.

He got down and I slid forward, tightening the gloves around my palm and he stretched a little.

"There's a small Dhaba ten kilometres away. I'll tell you when to stop." He said and I hummed.

He hopped on behind me, his arms wrapping around my waist with such ease that I felt my stomach do a tiny flip.

He took off his helmet, running a hand through his hair and messing them effortlessly. I just gazed at him through the mirror, before averting my gaze and twisting the key.

He placed his chin on my shoulder as he husked, "Am I distracting you?"

"Shut up." I hissed, twisting the throttle enough for the bike to surge a little forward. He laughed before yelling softly, "Let's go, wife."

I smirked before driving off, leaving a trail of dust behind.

"I can trust your driving skills right?" He asked, his voice dripping with tease. I rolled my eyes, turning a little to glare at him as I smacked his head with my helmet. "Ow." He squeaked, rubbing a hand on his forehead.
