An hour into the surgery George's brain swelled and his BP dropped.
"Start compressions" Spencer said and I started pushing on his chest before he flatlined so I placed the paddles on his chest and shocked them and still nothing. After a few minutes of trying to resuscitate him but we couldn't.
"Time of death......8:45AM" I said looking up at Mer and the rest of George's friend but what stood out was that Meredith had got up and stormed out with tears in her eyes so I ran out to go scrub out and go get her.
Meredith's PoV
I can't believe it George is dead little harmless George O'Malley is dead why is it always is why do bad things always happen to people from this hospital why can't things just go our way. I just want to hide because I don't want Derek to see me like this and if I see Derek I'll just breakdown and I want to do that myself. I got into my car and started driving I don't know where but I just want to be alone.
