Dr Leffrene had just taken out the baby and we were still waiting for the cry.
"Derek why isn't she crying" Meredith asked panicking which was raising her stats.
"Meredith, Derek your daughters lungs are not working properly which is expected as she is a newborn we will take her up to OB for further treatment" Dr Kern said while the nurses took the baby.
"Derek go with her and watch her" she said holding my hand
"No Meredith I'm staying with you, your doing worse than our baby is" I said putting up an argument
"Derek just go with the baby!!" She said raising her voice
"I'm going nowhere"
"Derek just go with the baby!!!" She shouted before bursting into tears. I stood up and stormed out and towards OB.
When I arrived up there she had tubes and wires coming from all different places. After an hour of standing and staring senselessly at the glass container I couldn't take it anymore and walked out.....
