"Mer just wait until you see what I got you for Christmas" I teased
"Just wait until you see what I got you" she said sitting across from me
"Wait a minute I'll be right back" I said picking up my stick and walking into my office.
When I found what I wanted I walked back through and I handed the box to her.
"What's this" she said slowly unwrapping it
"Just wait a minute..... I remember you flicking through a magazine a while ago and you thought I wasn't paying attention well you were wrong I was fully aware and I thought I would get you it so take a look" I said before she opened the box to find a necklace with a heart charm
"Oh Derek it's beautiful I love it"
"Look inside"
When she looked inside she dropped her head and I could hear her sobbing. I had it engraved with the day we met and the day we got married along with a picture of me and her in Maine.
"Do you like it?" I asked hobbling over to her
"Derek I love it but why give it to me now"
"I just couldn't wait that long to give it to you but I'm so glad you like it"
"Come here" she said standing up and holding out her arms before wrapping me in them
"Love you" she mumbled into my chest
"Love you too" I said pulling out of the hug and putting the necklace on her.
Meredith's POV
I feel so bad that I can't give him his Christmas present yet I want to tell him but I think it would be better as a surprise.
No one know except his mother that I'm Pregnant.
