"What about Christopher you know after your dad" she said and I immediately smiled
"Little Christopher Shepherd I love it" I replied
"You better go phone your mom"
"Yea I'll be back soon I'm gonna run home and get you some things"
"Ok I love you" she said
"Love you too" I said placing a kiss on her head
I walked out and immediately was greeted by Arizona.
"Shepherd what are you doing up here is there a patient" she asked
"No we have a little baby Shepherd" I smiled
"Oh great congrats do we have a name" she said with a smile
"Christopher but it's not in the chart yet"
"I'll add it in for you"
"Thanks I'll see you later" I walked away and phoned my mom
C- Hey son I wasn't expecting you too call
D-mom you need to come to the hospital
C-what why what happened
D-there's a little person who wants to meet you
C-(starts to cry) oh my god you had a baby
D-yea so get over here
C-ok I'm on my way
3 hours later Mer's POV
"There she is the mom of the moment" Carolyn said walking in
"Thanks Ma the baby should be here any moment with Derek they took a walk
Just as I finished saying that he walked in.
"Hey my son and who is this little tiny baby" she asked
"Mom this is little baby Christopher Shepherd" he said making me cry a little
"Mer why are you crying" he asked sitting on the bed next to me
"I don't know it's just so surreal." I replied
"Here give me the little guy I'll go sit in the corner while you talk" she said collecting the baby from Derek and walking to the couch
"What's wrong?" He asked
"I think it might be the hormones but it could be the fact that I love you so much you gave me someone to hold me at night, you gave me a husband and also you gave me the best thing that's happened to me since you and I just want to thank you for that" I said constantly wiping my tears
"Mer it's not just me but it's you as well you've gave me hope that I'm never going to lose..Mer your my inspiration to keep living and I love you for that" he said with his hand on my cheek
"I love you too" I said kissing him then pulling him into a hug.
"Right enough crying lets get this little man fed then I say a trip to the cafeteria?" I suggested and they both nodded while Carolyn handed me Christopher back.
After I was done feeding him we put him I the little stroller and we went for lunch.
