"Flight 432 to the Bahamas is taking off in 20 minutes please head to the gate" the attendant said over the intercom so I grabbed Meredith's hand and we started walking to our gate.
"I'm so glad we're getting away from the chaos and the troubles in the hospital and I'm so glad I'm going with you" she said walking into the gate after showing the woman our boarding passes
"Me too I wouldn't want to be with anyone else" I said placing a quick kiss on her cheek.
Once we got on the plane I automatically gave Meredith the window seat because I knew she loves that space on the plane.
An hour into the flight Meredith already had her head on my shoulder as I did work on my laptop we were so fortunate to be at the back of the plane and it being a two seat section.
5 hours later
"Meredith we're here" I said shaking her slightly
"Already" she replied obviously tired
"Yea lets get you to the hotel and into bed" I said
At the hotel
"Oh my god Derek it's so big how did you find this place" she said looking out the window
"Callie recommended it"
"Well remind me to thank Callie"
"You still tired" I asked placing a strand of hair behind her ear
"I'm really tired want to go to bed then we could go for dinner later" she said
"Sounds like a plan" I placed a kiss on her forehead then we walked to the bed and hopped in and it didn't take us long to fall asleep"
