New chief

"Well ladies and gentlemen thank you for coming I know you all have heard about my retirement so I put this together to say good bye and to introduce you to your new chief" Richard said but as this was going on Christina turned to Mark
"We're meeting mystery man today I bet he's old and ready to retire too" she said
"How much do you bet" Mark replied
"50 bucks says he's old"
"Fine but 100 if he's my age" he replied again
"Ok 100 bucks if one of us is wrong I hope you have time to run to the bank" she said
"So ladies and gentlemen I will like to pass you over to your new chief of surgery Dr Derek Shepherd" he said as I walked up onto the stage and shook his hand
"Pay up yang" Mark said tapping her shoulder
"I have to go to the bank" she said all grumpy
"Well I would like to introduce myself I am Dr Derek Shepherd I am a neurosurgeon from New York and really you all were probably expecting big changes and there will be none. From my understanding you have just went through a merger so I wouldn't want to stun the hospital more than it has. So keep up the good work and make this hospital number one in the world and if you have any questions my door is alway open just don't get yourselves stuck with you all trying to get in at once" I said standing watching them leave but a few started talking with Dr Webber and it didn't seem good.
"I can assure you he's very good at his job" I heard Richard say
"Who's really good at their job?" I asked looking at the residents
"Well they think your all looks" he said
"Well you try being number one neurosurgeon in the world at one point then come back to me" I said winking and walking away towards Meredith who was waving me over.
"Hey would like to join me and a few people for lunch" she asked
"I would love too lets go"
