Ring

I was lying in bed with Derek's arms around me when we heard a voice.
"Mer do you want to go get breakfast before work" George shouted from the other side of the door.
"Kind of occupied in here O'Malley" I replied
"Oh ok" he said
"You know we should tell them we're dating again" he said
"It would be kind of funny but I'll go down first and check if they're all there then you'll appear"
"Cool then I can take my beautiful girl for breakfast"
"Yes you can" I said kissing him
Down stairs
When I walked into the kitchen I saw Alex, Izzie, Lexie and George standing waiting.
"So who's the guy" Izzie asked
"You'll find out" I replied
"If it's anyone weird like that Finn guy I'm moving out" Alex said
"The guy is a Shepherd" I said
"Oh god she's dating a farmer I'm moving" Alex replied
"Not that kind of shepherd Alex this kind" Derek said appearing through the door
"About time you two got back together" Lexie said
"You ready to go babe" he asked placing a hand on my back
"Yea sure why don't you go start the car and I'll be out in a minute" I asked kissing his cheek and I watched him go out the door followed by Alex and George.
"Mer what's up" Izzie asked
"Promise not tell anyone" I asked and they nodded
"I found a ring and not just any ring his mothers engagement ring" I said with a smile on my face
"Oh my god!!!!" Lexie shouted
"Congrats Mer" Izzie shouted as well
"Mer we gotta go" Derek shouted
"Coming" I replied walking towards the door.
When I got in the car Derek was just staring at me.
"What?" I asked
"I love you Meredith"
"I love you too Derek"
"I know you hate big romantic gestures so I'm gonna do it in the car" he said
"Do what"
"Ask you too marry me" he asked and a large grin emerged on my face
"And before you say anything I know it's quick but we've loved each other for a long time and we can make it a long engagement If you want so...."
"Derek yes of course I will I love you so much" I said grabbing his shirt and pulling him in for a kiss
"I love you too Mer" he said placing the ring on my finger then we hugged again before he pulled out the drive way.

So I'm back to school tomorrow (awwwwwww😭😭😭😭😭)
