I was lying in bed with my laptop scrolling through all my emails and then replying to a few until I heard singing. Meredith had been shopping with Amy all morning to cheer her up so this must be her back. I walked down stairs in just my sweatpants and see Mer dancing about the kitchen.
"Well this is a pleasant sight" I said scaring her
"Hey you, you scared me" she said leaning against the island worktop
"I missed you" she said
"I missed you too"
I pulled her in for a hug and burrows her head in my chest.
"I bought you something today"
"You did?" I asked
"Yea I just wanted to get you something as a thank you for being there for me"
"Mer you didn't have to"
"I wanted to" she pulled out a small box and handed it to me
"Oh my god Mer"..........
