It's been 3 hours since the cops found Derek and he's been in surgery for 2. After they found him he was bleeding into his brain so Dr Jameson the new neurosurgeon took him into surgery.
"Meredith you need to rest" said a voice that I remember so clearly. When I looked up it was Tom Solomon my ex boyfriend.
"Tom why are you here it's your day off" I asked
"I heard what happened so I came right over where's Derek" he asked
"He's in surgery he was attacked and he has a brain bleed" I said keeping myself together. We sat in silence until he patted his shoulder.
"You need sleep here" he offered so I rested my head on his shoulder.
A few hours later I was awoken by an intern.
"Dr Grey, Dr Shepherd is out of surgery we got the bleed but his brain swelled after we fixed the bleed so we've had to keep a flap open so he will be in a coma for two weeks but also the damage was so severe he may not wake up" she said as I started to see our relationship flashback to the passed few years our meeting, wedding, Chris so much in one and I can't lose him but I'm never giving up on him.....ever.
