I walked out the hospital and of course it was raining. I made my way over to the park where me and Meredith would spend our weekends. I sat down on a bench when I saw Callie run towards me.
"Hey Shepherd what are you doing out here haven't you heard there's a storm going on like now" she laughed
"I just don't know what to do, how can I get by if I lose both of them" I said looking up and letting the rain hit my face.
"Derek your not going to lose any of them but for now you need to one fix your tie and two go see your wife she's out of surgery and asking for you" she said
"She's alive?" I asked
"Yes she's alive so let's get back and get you into dry clothes" she said as we both got up and started heading towards the hospital but what was to come next no one expected.......
