"Derek I've got a 29 year old woman with a frontal lobe Tumour could you have a look" Meredith asked
"Yea is there anything else about her because from what I can see is she's very pregnant" I replied taking the chart
"Yes she is 35 weeks pregnant"
"Ok I'll take a look but can I talk to you for a minute" I asked as she nodded so we walked to an empty trauma room
"What's up?" She asked
"No Mer what's up with you"
"Nothing why"
"It's just your very pale and your forgetting things and your just not yourself"
"I'm ok Derek its just.....I'm so tired I can't deal with anything anymore and I'm stressed" she said breaking down into tears.
"It's ok sweetie it'll be ok what about if you go take a nap. Just put a sign on the door I'll take your patients and eh give me your pager" I said holding her in my arms
"You serious?"
"Very now go" she said handing me her stuff kissing my cheek and walking out.
A few hours later Derek had finished the surgery with the result he did not want. The woman's brain swelled  and then she coded and he couldn't get her back. He had to call OB to come and deliver the baby and now he has to go tell her husband that his wife is dead.
I walked up to her husband and he immediately stood up.
"Hello are you my wife's doctor how is she" he asked and I say him down
"Mr Anderson your wife's brain swelled during surgery which caused her heart to stop and we couldn't restart it I'm so sorry but we managed to deliver the baby and he's safe in the nicu" I said
He broke down but he said something under his breathe
"Murder" he whispered but I couldn't understand
"Excuse me"
"MURDERER you killed my wife the woman I love the mother of my child your a murderer that doesn't deserve to be loved your a MURDERER" he shouted as I got up and walked away towards the attending school lounge. I changed picked up my bag left Mer a note then left to my car.
"I really don't deserve to be loved" I said to myself looking at the picture of me and Mer at our wedding that I have hanging in my car.
