"Hey how's married life" April asked as I entered the attending's lounge
"Well he still doesn't put the toilet seat down so it's going terribly so far" I joke
"No but seriously he's the most amazing man ever and I don't know where I'd be without him and I'm now officially Mrs Meredith Shepherd and Dr Meredith Shepherd"
"That's a lot of names" she replied
"I know and I feel sorry for the woman who did my lab coat and name tag"
"We should all go and shake her hand" she said before her pager went off and she went running off.
I decided to go see Derek while I could so I set off towards his office.
Derek's POV
I was doing paperwork when Meredith came in
"Hey sweetie how's work" she said sitting in front of my desk
"Better now that your here come over here" I replied patting my knee
She walked over and sat on my lap
"Look what I got today" she said showing me her lab coat
"Well then I think Dr Meredith Shepherd looks amazing on you" I said flirting with her
"Oh really well I'm glad to be Dr Shepherd" she replied kissing me. We stayed making out for at least a few minutes until someone knocked on the door so Meredith jumped off me
"Come in" I said and Amy walked in
"Oh sorry did I interrupt something" she said
"No it's fine...Amy your lab coat is at HR and all you need to do now is sign here" I said pointing to a space on the paper and she signed it.
"Welcome to Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital Dr Shepherd" I said
"Well it's like a hospital of Shepherds here isn't it" Meredith said and we all sort of giggled.
