It was mid afternoon of Christmas Eve and myself and Meredith were curled up on the floor by the fire.
"Hmm this is nice" Mer said
"Yes it is.. It really is" I said as I started to kiss her shoulder and up to her neck
"Whoops I didn't mean to interrupt" Lori said walking in
"It's ok Lor" Meredith laughed
"You know that Pete isn't what I thought he was. He left his phone and he's got a wife" she said making me go red in the face
"That's it.....PETE GET DOWN HERE!!!!" I said getting into my wheelchair
"Yipp" he said coming down the stairs
"Get your stuff and leave now no excuses"
"So you found out well at least I got to make you rage again bye Derek" he said going up stairs and about 20 minutes later he left.
"I'm so sorry Lor" I said hugging her
"It's ok I'll find someone else it's just he was so nice to start" she replied sitting down. Just as she sat down Amelia, Mark and Lexie walked in.
"Hey was that Pete outside getting in a cab?" Mark asked
"Yea it was we just ended it" Lori laughed thinking back at her mistake starting the relationship
"So are me and Mark in Alex's old bedroom" Lexie asked
"Yea dinner will be ready in an hour" Mer said
When everyone went to their rooms and Mer went to the kitchen I was left sitting alone until Mark walked in.
"Hey Shep I need to talk to you" he said looking serious.
