It's been a week and myself and Emma were going to head back to Scotland for a few months to get everything sorted out with the house and stuff.
"Meredith I just came to say bye" I said walking into her office
"Bye I'll see you in a few months" she said getting up and hugging me
"Bye and say bye to Tom for me"
"Sure will"
We stopped hugging and I walked out. I can't believe I didn't tell her I never signed the papers.
Meredith's POV
I wish he knew how I felt like come on I broke up with Tom for him. I need to tell him.
I got up and ran out but when I got to the car park he was gone so I got in my car and headed to the airport.
Derek's POV
Emma and I were standing in the airport when I started to have second thoughts.
"Emma I can't do this" I said
"What?" She asked
"I can't leave my family" I replied
"You still love her don't you"
"Yea she's my soul mate and she has been for a long time I'm sorry"
"It's ok Derek I forgive you, you have a family to think of"
"Flight 472 to Glasgow Scotland is boarding now please head to your gate"
"That's me bye Derek" she said hugging me
"By Emma" I said letting her go
After she boarded her plane I sat on the chairs for a while.
After 30 mins of sitting there I heard shouting.
"Damn it damn it damn it" a woman's voice shouted
I turned around and Meredith was sitting on the floor in tears.
"Meredith what are you doing here" I asked and she stood up and ran over into my arms and I spun her around.
"Derek you didn't get on the plane"
"No I didn't I choose you"
"Derek I can't stand seeing you with other woman I need you I need my man so what do you say we go see our lawyer and cancel the divorce" she said
"No need I didn't sign the papers"
"Well then husband what about we go home"
"I love you" I said
"I love you too" she replied as I picked her up and kissed her.
