I AM SO SORRY I HAVE BEEN MIA
REALLY TRULY SORRY
JUST SOMETHING HAPPENED AND I DONT WANT TO EXPLAIN
BUT I WANTED TO COME BACK ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL TO GIVE YOU A FULL REPORT
so hi :-)
I didnt have time to fully enjoy my first day
first of all: uniforms are ugly as shit. who thought burgundy and gray plaid was a good idea.
but that, sadly, was not the worst part
so in june of 8th grade i took a science course
it was a course that 9th graders in new york were supposed to take, but they offered it to my school, and that was our regular science curriculum. if we passed the test, then that meant we got to go on the next course.
so i took the test, even though science isnt my best subject. but the thing was, my science teacher said I should take it bc I was doing well in her class and i might as well. she had faith in me saying that I would get a good grade. and i did get a good grade, an 84. it was a pass/fail test, failing is a 75 I think, so it was good enough. but I mainly took the test bc I wanted to move up and what not.
so today i found out that I dont get to move up. NO, ON THE CONTRARY I MOVE DOWN.
THE STUPID SCHOOL PUT ME IN 9TH GRADE NON HONORS SCIENCE
ITS THE COURSE I WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE IN 8TH GRADE, I THINK.
ALL BECAUSE "freshman dont take sophomore chemistry" LIKE WHAT??????????
SO THEYRE TELLING ME I DID ALL THAT WORK
THAT STUDYING
WASTING MY TIME AFTER SCHOOL ATTENDING PREP CLASSES FOR THIS GOD AWFUL TEST
FOR NOTHING????
NO WAIT I DID IT FOR SOMETHING
TO GET DEMOTED
like??? I didnt sign up for this at all????
oh and I realize I didnt explain something: most middle schools didnt offer the course i had, especially catholic schools, so all the kids in honors are taking the course i already did
and then I had to go home and explain to my mom why im not in honors science lmao
shes like "itll be easyyyy olivia its an easy grade" but im telling u if this course envolves earth science I swear to my Jesus, guy fieri, I will have a fit
