so I walk into school today
and I kind of knew I was going to get a lot of work to do for monitoring bc there was flash flooding, and teachers come from all over the place so there will be traffic
but hoLY BALLZ
so I walk in and the office ppl are like "I hope you have comfortable shoes bc there's a looootttt of coverage slips"
I get a whole stack of coverage slips
(btw, coverage slips are paper things that teachers get when they have to sub for another class and they have to sign it so they get paid or whatever)
LITERALLY THERE WAS LIKE 15 OF THEM AND LIKE I HAD TO VISIT AT LEAST 5 TEACHERS ON EVERY FLOOR
so what I did was go to all the teachers who had first period coverages first
I got yelled at a lot bc teachers hate them lol
and then what I did was run all the way up to the third floor and just worked my way down
some of the teachers were so difficult with me
I had to go to the dance teacher's room which was all the way up on the third floor AND SHE WASNT THERE LIKE TF I CHECKED IT THREE TIMES
then there was one who cursed at me bc I gave her a coverage slip and there was one other teacher in the room who looked so scared omg
then there was one who when I walked into her classroom she was like "nooo go away" and then my math teacher walked in and was like "hell yes Olivia you give her two coverage slips haha"
there was one time that I had to give one to my cw teacher and she screamed while the Dean was right next to her and she told me I was failing her class :(
and there was one time where the teacher told me "you know that nobody here wants to see you right"
and one time I gave it to the really cool photography/art teacher and he drew a duck on the coverage slip
ooh and as I was walking through the halls a teacher was leading the class into another room and one of my friends who were in the class was like "EVERYONE LETS ALL SAY HI TO OLIVIA" and I got many hellos and hi fives from everyone in the class it was lovely
so yes
these have been my coverage slip adventures
exciting I know
ooh and I forgot to mention, when I was finished with all the coverage slips I was very late to first period so late it was basically second period already and I was fuckkkkinnnngggg sweaty and disgusting like oh mah god.
