okay, so my parents want me to go to Catholic high school

I don't even believe in God.
but all the other high schools in my area suck.
you can die in them.
there's schools that are super ghetto and it's normal for kids to carry weapons.
then there's schools that give the students so much work that there's aCTUALLY A SUICIDE RATE BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF WORK

I had an argument with my parents on why I can't wear pants and they were like "it's conservative for girls to wear skirts that's just the way it is" blah blah fucking blah.

oddly enough, a good percentage of my friends at school are guys. (well, metrosexual/gay guys, I don't go near the straight ones because they all seem to be pigs, but they're still guys) and my parents are like "you make long lasting friendships with people in high school, so it's best if you stick with the girls"
