Chapter 36: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Lily

On my birthday I woke up to like ten people singing me happy birthday.

"Happy birthday Lils." Bella and Iris say hugging me.

"You Finally an adult in the muggle world. " Mackenzie says also hugging me.

"Happy birthday to my lovely Lily flower." James says kissing me.

"Happy birthday Lily." Remus and Sirius said giving me a hug.

"Aw you guys remembered."

"Well it wasn't hard to because your boyfriend over here wouldn't let us forget it." Sirius said laughing.

"Well hurry up and get dressed we got stuff planned." Molly added and ushered everyone out of the room leaving just myself to get changed.

Time skip to after they are done eating.

"Let's go Lily." James says picking me up bridle style and running to the lake.

Oh no James you better not!" I cry.

"To late." He said while he jumped in still holding me. CRASH! We hit the water.

"I Am gonna kill you." I say as I splash him.

"Come on Evans it's the perfect day to swim."

We swam for about an hour but them James said we had to get out and get changed and got to the party. After we got all dry and changed we went to the room of requirement. We visuals odd the door and it appeared. We walked in and it was decorated with steamers and banners.

"Hey birthday girl is her. That means she has to open her Presents now." Sirius said pulling me towards a chair next to a pile of presents.

Third

Lily opened her gifts. She got books and candy from most of her classmates and fellow Gryffindors.

Mackenzie- a Disney t shirt
Iris - nail polish and Gone with the wind (muggle book)
Bella- a flower hair pin
Molly - a book mark and a muggle book called The keeper of the lost cities.
James - a necklace (see pic above) and perfume
Sirius- candy and a little mermaid shirt
Remus- a picture of the two of them
Griffin- a multicolored quill
Charlie - nail polish
Jake and Jackson- candy

They all laughed and had a good time at the party. Lily was happy to be with her friends and James was happy that she was happy and when James is happy do is everyone else. It was going great until a certain Slytherin arrived.

"Snape what are you doing here!" James said and stood protectively in front of Lily.

"I just came to talk to my for end and give her this." He said holding out a book.

"Why would she want to talk to you. Especially after you called her that-." James was caught off my Lily.

"That's enough James. It's fine. Severus I can talk to you outside." She said leaving and Snape following.

James was steamed so he left to get some punch.

Lily

"What to you want Severus?" I ask sharply.

"I came to apologize and say happy birthday." He said looking at his feet.

"Took you long enough." I mumble.

"Listen Lily I'm sorry. I truly am. Can you ever forgive me?"

"In time." I say coldly.

"Ok well then here." He says handing me a box.

It's a framed picture of us when we where younger and he told me I was a wizard.

"Thanks Severus." I say giving him a quick hug.

"So does that mean you don't hate me any more?" He asks.

"I never hated you just disappointed." I sadly smile.

"Well I won't keep you waiting. Enjoy your party." He said and walked off.

When I rejoin the party James rushes to my side.

"Are you ok he didn't try to hurt you or pull anything on you right?" He questions.

"I'm fine James. No come on let's enjoy the party." I say and pull him to the dance floor.
