Chapter 51: Prepping for the Holidays

December 15/

Lily

We are eating breakfast at the table me I ask "ok what's the plan for the holidays?" 

"My parents are having a Christmas Eve ball and you are all invited." James says.

"I'm going over my parents house because Iris will be there and I don't think we can come to the ball with the moon." Remus answered.

"I have to go to my insane cousins wedding." Sirius mumbled.

"I am staying with my parents." Peter squeaks.

"Ok well my parents and sister are spending the holiday with my sisters fiancée so James can I stay with you?" I ask.

"Of course." He says kissing me.

"AGH! PDA cover your eyes." Sirius screams.

"Shut up Padfoot." James says hitting him one the head with a rolled up news paper.

"I'm going Christmas shopping to day. Does anyone want to go?" I ask.

"I'll go." James said.

"I already went with Sirius in my birthday." Remus added.

"I have to leave." Peter says and runs off.

That's weird i think to my self. "Well come on James we have to get going." I say.

Iris

"So I got all my Christmas gifts at the last hogsmead trip." I say.

"Same."Bella added.

"How was your date Cin?" Mazie asked.

"It was great we went to the three broomsticks and talked then we walked around and talked some more. He asked me to be his girlfriend!" Cin said excitedly.

"Aw that's so cute." I say.

"A new ship is born.!" Bella declared dramatically.

"So what are you guys doing to the holidays?" Mazie asks.

"I'm going home to my parents and Remus will be there and then Jackson will come on Christmas Day. Thank god not the day before." I mumble.

"I'm just staying home." Bella added.

"I'm going to be in a wedding for my cousin and Charlie's coming." Mazie adds.

"Cool. Guys I have to go and get packed." Cinder said heading out.

"Me too. I should probably wrap all my gifts." Bella admitted. 

"I'm already packed I just have to wrap my gifts." Mazie said.

"Same." I said and start packing.

Time skip to next day

Mackenzie

"Guys we have to get going the train leaves in an hour." I say stuffing the last of my things in my trunk.

The the three of us walked down to the comm room greeted by our boyfriends.

"Ok Charlie my brother Sirius is picking us up and the. We're going straight to my house." I say.

"Sounds good." He says and pecks me on the check.

We all went to the great hall to eat. When we were done we meet up with Malina, Ben and Cinder and we all went to the train station. We all managed to for in one compartment because Charlie and Cinder had prefect duties. So we sat Malina, Mackenzie, Iris, Bella on one side and Jake, Jackson, and Ben. We got to the station and Remus, Lily, James, Griffin, and Sirius were waiting. I hugged all of them.

"I missed you guys hogwarts isn't the same." I said.

"We missed you too." Griffin said ruffling my hair.

"Come on Mal we have to get going." Griffin calls. "Have fun and behave yourself Charlie." Griffin adds.

"Will do." Charlie grins.

"Come on Iris. I'm not feeling to good." Remus said.

"Me to." Red admitted.

"Nice seeing you pup and Bella." Remus said and walked off.

"Well I see my step-mum I have to go." Bella calls and disappears in the crowd.

"What are you and lil here for?" I ask James.

"We wanted to see because you can't come to the ball for Christmas." Lily says hugging me.

"Yeah instead I have to be in a wedding. Yeah!" I said with sarcasm.

"Well I know you probably have to get going. So bye Kenzie." James says wrapping me in a hug.

"See you missy." Lily says giving me a hug as well.

"All right you too. I have to apparate there so hold on to one of my arms." Sirius instructs.

I feel like I'm being squished and bent through a tube. We finally reach 12 Grimmald place and I stumble a little bit Sirius catches me. He thing bangs the stone then 11 and 13 open up and 12 comes forward.

"You told him what to except right?" Sirius asks.

"Uh kinda?" I say shrugging my shoulders. Sirius paused a bit.

"Well here. the next closest thing to the underworld. Prepare yourself." Sirius says to Charlie and we walk on.
