Chapter 66: The Big Day

Charlie

I have never seen my brother more nervous then he is right now.

"I'm so nervous Charlie. Should I even get married." He rambles and messes with his bow tie .

"Grif chill you'll be fine. You love Caroline your just a bit nervous." I say holding Oliver who's trying to strangle me by pulling my tie.

He's a cute little son of a gun. But what can I say he gets his looks from his uncle. Normally Caroline, Malina, Gerry or Rose watches Oliver but since they are getting reading for the wedding and we are watching him. James, Sirius, Jake, and Jackson arrive and get changed.

Shortly after Arthur comes. "Sorry the kids weren't cooperating." He says.

"It's fine mate." Griffin says.

Time skip

"Charlie can I please go out side." Griffin pleads.

"No because then you are going to run away." I say bouncing Oliver who was getting fussy.

"Griffin it'll be fine once you see Caroline you'll be fine. You only have 15 minutes." Jackson adds.

We are interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Y'all decent." Rose says covering her eyes.

"Yeah." James says.

"Thank god. Now give me my godson." She says with open arms at me.

Rose looks absolutely beautiful she wearing a simple teal dress, white shoes, and pearl bracelet, necklace, and earnings and Her hair was up.

" He's mine too." I whine.

"Yeah what ever. Everyone knows the godmother is the favorite. Now give him to me. I have to take him to Caroline for the ceremony." She says.

At the sound of Caroline's name Griffins head shots up.

"Is she ok. Does she not want to marry me anymore. Did she get kidnapped?" Griffin starts to say.

"Whoa grif chill she's fine." Rose reassures.

"And I thought Caroline was nervous." She mumbles.

I let out a chuckle. Everyone looks at me weird.

"Never mind here take him." I say handing Oliver off to rose.

"Thanks see you in a few." Rose says and leaves.

Griffin

I wait at the alter for the love of my life. I live by the water. So the beach can be seen in the background. There is no going back now. The music starts and Jake walks down with Malina. They get to the alter and Jake goes left and sits in the front of the left row. Malina does the same but two the right. Jacob and Nicole follow them. Then James and Mary Margaret and Mackenzie and Jackson. Then Charlie and Gerry walk up and Charlie stands to my right and Gerry is to my left. The music changes and Caroline comes holding Oliver. She looks amazing her hair is down and curled. She looks like a goddess in her dress. It seems like forever but she and Oliver finally reach the alter. When it's time for vows Caroline hands Oliver to Gerry and takes both of my hands.

"I love you Caroline Marie Patek. You make me smile and be happy. You make me a better person and I love you for that. You gave me a beautiful son and So much more. You don't know how thankful I am. I can't believe we are finally getting married and you will finally be Caroline Wood. I love you." I say smiling widely and slipping the ring on her finger.

Caroline is tearing up but smiling. She takes a moment and begins her vows. "Griffin you are the best man in the world. You make me feel pretty and treat me like a princess. You are my best friend and I finally get to marry you. We have wonderful son Oliver. I hope he grows up to be just as a gentleman as you are. I love you and I can't wait to be Mrs. Wood." Slipping the ring on my finger.

Gerry then hands Oliver back to Caroline. " Do you Griffin take Caroline to be your lawfully wedded wife. Through sickness and in health. For Rich or for poor. Till death do you part." The priest says.

"I do." Smiling widely.

"And do you Caroline take Griffin to be your lawfully wedded husband. Through sickness and in health. For rich or for poor. Till death do you part." The priest asks.

"I do." She says smiling wider then before.

"And do you Oliver want your parents to get married." He priests asks.

Oliver smilies and coos. "Then it's said. I now pronounce you husband and wife you may now kiss the bride." He says.

I kiss Caroline and then pull Oliver and her into a hug. Caroline takes my arm and we walk down the aisle.

Time skip

Charlie

The chairs used for the ceremony are rearranged with tables and space has been cleared for a dance floor. We eat dinner which is steak. Then Caroline and Griffin share there first dance and Mackenzie holds Oliver. Then Caroline dances with her father and Griffin with mum. Then we have a bridal party dance so I dance with Gerry. I make my way over to Rose who still is holding Oliver.

"Care do dance?" I ask.

"Sure." She smiles and we go to the dance floor. I dance with olive and Rose.

After the songs over Griffin beckons me over.

"What's up. You aren't nervous anymore right?" I ask.

"I'm fantastic and no I'm not nervous." Griffin replies.

"Have you and Mackenzie ever talked about having kids?" He asks.

"Yeah why?" I respond.

"Well I've notice she loves kids and I've seen how you are with Oliver. You'd make a great dad." He says staring past me.

I turn to see what he's looking at. It's Mackenzie holding Oliver and laughing about something with Caroline. Rose hands Oliver to his mum and walks over.

"Hey Grif. Congrats." She says giving Griffin a hug.

A slow song comes on and she asks. "Care to dance Liam?"

"I'd love too." I respond and head to the dance floor.

The rest of the night is a blast. They cut the cake and we dance some more. We eventually see Iris, Bella, Cinder, and Ben. And dance with them, Jake, Arthur, James, Remus, Lily, Sirius and Jackson. Arthur stays a bit longer but then leaves to help Molly with their three kids.

At the end of the night during the last dance Rose says "they are so right for each other." Looking at the newly weds.

Caroline and Griffin are dancing with Oliver asleep.

His head resting on Griffins shoulder. "Yeah and so are we." I say kissing her.

"We have another wedding To go to on two weeks." She adds.

"Right your cousin Narcissa's right." I ask.

"That's the one." She says and we continue to dance.
